I have no doubts the R’s will look for a way to legislate around the problem. If they are good at anything, it’s being low down, scum sucking, backroom dealing assholes, who will lie and cheat their way to whatever their desires.
Then laugh it up on some rich f*****s yacht. How the poorest, dumbest, segment of society thinks for one moment the R party is in it for them, is the biggest joke on the yacht.

Hello Shelldigger. I agree. I expect the SCOTUS will try to find a reason to block the use of this style law against guns or anything beloved by the right wing even if they just have to create it out of their asses. After all that is what Justice Scalia did in the heller case, giving everyone the right to own and carry a gun. Before that it was not thought to be a personal right, and it doesn’t say it is a personal right in the constitution but the right wing wanted it to be, so they created it. Chief Justice Roberts warned the rest that this was coming but they are too religiously hardheaded to see it. I look forward to seeing if the light has dawned on them yet. Hugs

Hello Nan. Why do you think it will go no where? The SCOTUS has refused to stop that tactic three times now, both using shadow docket and in open arguments in court. If they say the tactic is legal as they have done so far it can be used by any state. That was what Chief Justice Roberts dissent was all about. Hugs

Hello Nan. I see and thank you for giving my thoughts such credit. Yes what I wrote to Shelldigger is what I think will happen based on what I read. I have listened to podcasts that tried to break this down and how illegal the scheme is. But these were just my thoughts and I admit I am not really the sharpest knife in the drawer. I can hack the small end of the carrot off but I am not smart enough to slice the tomato. IMO So I just assume that these state governments have people on payroll that can think circles around me. I do hope so, because I want this vigilante system we are creating in the US to stop. It will soon be a bounty hunter country, a place everyone is worried about the next guy being the secret reporter or secret police. Scary. Hugs
