sigh They will never stop because it’s their solemn “duty” to promote the gospel of JC. Nevertheless, I fully support the FFRF organization and ardently hope they win the case!

Hello Nan, the problem is just what you say here and what you wrote in the last comment. They wont quit and they are driven to take over. That combined with a public too tired and busy to respond and effectively refute this moving of religion into government means the religious take over. I read some of the comments, they cannot see the issue or problem. They were sincere. Yet when you ask if a Muslim Sherrif could do this with Islamic verses from the Koran they get really pissed off and upset. Why? If it is OK for a Christan sheriff, why not a Muslim one? And as I said they go crazy at that. The US is in a very dangerous point right now where they anti-democratic groups have more power than the democratic groups. And most people don’t see it because it is couched in this is normal terms. Because people are so use to prayers before meetings they never question why only Christian prayers are allowed. The fact is that while we all slept the Christian nationalist moved in. Now we have to fight them. Scottie
