  1. Yes, Jen hits home with her remarks, BUT … unless you happen to listen to these interviews, most people have no clue because it’s not something the media in general focuses on.

Also, I noticed she used the word “proposed” several times. This is different that something actually being put into action. Which brings out another point … many folk are disenchanted with Biden because they have no clue on what goes on in the halls of Congress. All they know is what’s reported in the news. It’s almost certain there are many actions/proposals/bills that are “in the works” that people never hear about.

This is just one of the many reasons why, for me, focusing on politics is not my “thing.” I simply don’t have the patience or energy that you do to continue defending and counteracting the negative perspectives that prolificate the news.

    1. Hello Nan. Oh boy is your comment on topic for my afternoon. I just spent a few hours watching the Sam Seader YouTube show I listening to most afternoons. He had a really hardcore anti left wing supper not our government guy on for over an hour. The guy was a follower of Jimmy Door who is so discredited because he tried to become the left version of Joe Rogan. Yes I know these names and what it all means is not what you follow.

So let me explain. This guy is using his YouTube show and all his followers to hate on the left and the squad because he thinks they are not militant enough at getting what they want. He is of the school burn it all down and then rebuild from the ashes what we want. Not realizing that the ones rebuilding will be the other side.

He wanted the progressive in the House to challenge Pelosi and to not vote for any bill until they get what they want. Yes all six should withhold their votes until the entire House of Representative agree with them. It was so childishly stupid and so much a grade school tantrum approach to politics it was hard to listen to. The idea that these progressive members should try to harm the ones they needed to work with instead of becoming their friends and offering them something they wanted to vote our way was something this young loud brash indignant person couldn’t understand. He was of the Republican tRump model of smash, scream, yell, and make a lot of noise even if that fail to get what you want. Forget working quietly behind the scenes to reach a happy result.
But that is what I was saying about no people have a clue, because you are right they don’t. Sadly a lot of people are paid or get money for acting in a way that people without a clue will believe or listen to and act on. That is what drives me nuts about Fox, OAN, or Newmax. People listen to them and act on them and they are total bullshit. You said it so correct, most people and this guy did not understand the give and take trading going on between members of congress to get the result each ones want. In the old days it did not have to be so secret, it was not a crime for Republicans and Democrats to eat and talk with each other. They use to make deals over drinks. Now that is considered fraternizing with the enemy.

Nan your not wanting to focus on politics is understandable. I would go so far as to say it is normal. look at it this way. Not many people want to look at the gore of open body surgery, but we all are dang thankful there are doctors to do it.

*** edited out graphic memory** Sorry having a triggering going on the last couple days

Nan the attempt to get the people to not have the energy or will to fight the government is deliberate in our country. Every thing from wages so low that people can not afford to even rent an apartment to ( Ron read me an article that is in our local news paper that to afford a one bedroom apartment in our area a person needs an hourly wage of $22 dollars an hour. No one working in stores or waiting tables gets that ) The wealthy and the powerful want this result. If the people are too stressed and too busy just trying to live they cannot fight the government.

What people don’t realize is we are at a real crisis in our country. I listened today to a writer of a book that detailed how much the corporations have taken over state governments to bypass the federal government completely. The examples were staggering and true. I will try to post it here. The guys name is David Pepper and I can not post it yet. But the point is that at the state level the wealthy billionaire Koch brothers managed to start an entire new country of Republican revolution we are fighting today because the Democrats were not interested in state level stuff. And it is biting us now. I hope this links work, if not I will try when they post the interview. Nan I understand what you are saying, but we have to understand those with money are going to keep trying to undermine any efforts for the people to have a decent life. They are doing it and they have won in the states. Here listen:
