Hi Scottie;
Repeatedly, we understand why the repukes want to dumb down education in America. This country was founded on the backs of indentured servants and then slaves. Don’t get me wrong, there were brave and industrious people of many backgrounds as well, but the War of Independence had little to nothing to do with slavery.
Further, there were conscientious objectors like the Quakers who were against slavery from the start.
I’ve always considered people have the right to be just as dumb as they wish, but damn – it’s not supposed to be our leadership.
