I’m not a fan of the music style of The Chicks, but I am impressed with their moral stance even though it has cost them popularity in the past. The fact that they asked a former 1960s New Zealand singing duo known as The Chicks for permission to use the name, even though they probably didn’t need to ask, tells one a lot about the type of people they are.

Hello Barry. You are correct. I am not a fan of their music either except for one song I find interesting. But they do seem to put what they feel is correct and moral above the money. I was impressed about that because in the US profit is king and to do what they did being willing to give up the extra profit is not only unusual but is something most won’t do. Best wishes.
