Floridians already feeling economic effect of DeSantis immigration law

  1. Maybe he’ll go the way of Sam Brownback, except I don’t want a Republican president to be elected or appoint DeS as religious diversity ambassador the way Trump did Brownback. But once that was over, we haven’t heard much of Brownback. So maybe that will happen with DeSantis. and boyohboy his wife is one nasty piece of work!

    I am constrained to report that a judge has ordered the state to stop changing trans people’s ID documents for 2 weeks while AG Kobach’s case is being reviewed. I don’t know what to expect from that, but of course we knew the law would go into effect at 12:01 AM on 7/1, so that part’s been underlined. I’ll let you know as things move along. Here’s to justice…
