Liberal Redneck – Ohio and the Future of Democracy

Well Said, and it explains so very much. Hugs

Ostentatious title aside, I do think it’s wild what’s going on with R’s baldly anti-democratic actions as of late. PIA Link: https://www.piavpn.com/Trae

Ron is putting on the second coat. I love it. Hugs

Ron painting my old / new office

I had this small office in the past. My mental health was still shaky but improving. One of the things the doctor suggested was keeping me in brightly lit rooms. So when James moved out Ron redid the entire front room and made that my office. Last year James moved back home and took the small room with the idea he would get the front room back, which was my office. A change I agreed to as it made sense and I was much better emotionally. Also I was going to the new family room which was very bright and open with nearly all windows on the exterior walls. But the space was much smaller not just than the front room but even the small bed room James was in.

Then Ian tore the front room apart.

Now that James has had the happy experience of finding a person he really cares for and is romantically involved with he has moved out. It makes sense for me to go into that bedroom James was in, and we would make the front room the family living room and the current living room the dinning room, as it is an open room shared by the kitchen.

So Ron is working to redo the room and make it everything I need including being bright and happy feeling. I wanted a peach / coral color, a creamy orange pink. A very light color but with a color that could be seen. Plus while I did not want it flat but wanted a little shine I did not want it to sparkle or glare when I did videos or had the lights up. We went to the store, Ron and I looked over the colors, I showed him the range I was looking for, the idea I had expressed to him. I did not want a reddish color and did not want a bright orange color but a lite mix. We picked Pink Chablis and here is the pictures of the first coat after he did the primary coat. He already painted the ceiling. Ron has big plans for shelving and lighting plus he has figured out all the power runs. We will be adding one more APC uninterrupted power supply. I admit I am excited to not be in the living room and having to wear headphones a lot of the time. I am excited Ron will have his own space back again, I am excited we will soon have a bigger nicer living room and a large dinning room space.

But I have the sadz over no internet today. I am using my IPad to stream and my phone to post, but it is so inconvenient and hard to work. So this morning I went to the grocery store, went to talk with the pharmacy. Came home and struggled through doing the dishes. After I rest a bunch I plan to make a red meat sauce for us. We like the taste of tomato sauces and we can get a lot of different kinds of meals out of one pot full making it really cost effective on our fixed income budget. Best wishes, loves to my follower / decent caring people everywhere. Hugs

PS. No ability to speed / grammar check, the post is just as it flowed out of my fingers. Hugs
