By my dogs that love gravy, I have never heard someone sound so presidential and at the same time stay so human. Just get past the early required nice stuff about John McCain and get to the speech to hear what a real passionate president who believes in the country instead of his own enrichment sounds like. This speech puts to rest the sleepy Joe bullshit and the confused old man crap. He sounds so much better and motivated than the former guy who only throws hate and insults thinking that makes him look bigger. Two things that made clear really who President Biden is personally. At one point he gets heckled by someone shouting at him. Biden puts his head down (he was talking about civility in politics at the time) and then raises his head and speaks to the person. He tells them that if they will stay quiet for the speech he will meet with them, he will talk with them after the event. I can not imagine the former guy doing that. The second was when he was talking about the youth of the country being so important to democracy and that they would talk about what was happening a small child in the front was talking. Biden became for a moment the world’s most wonderful grandfather. He said like this child here is talking about it. Then he reassured the parent of the child that it was OK and that in his household children are important. I loved it. The best Biden speech ever! Hugs
