As I never tire of pointing out, there are sections of folk on the Left in Europe who are always scrambling to give Putin and free pass.

It is ironic, isn’t it? These are supposed to be the pro-democracy, pro-American people, too. Huh.
And what’s really concerning is that the rightists don’t seem to understand that they are actually contributing to bringing about what they say they’re against.

As long as white folk with a fundementalist attachment to a perverted sort of Christianity and the illusion of Hetrosexuality are running the show while re-writing history along with ‘scientific’ conclusions and dismantling the Constituion – they’ll be content.
Blind to what will be lurking around the corner, because a lot of folk will not see things their way.
They are not ready for the worst case scenario which they are bringing.

Hi Ali. Wow. Here in this country the right is the only party supporting Putin and his actions. That is weird because before tRump the saying was “Better dead than red”. Now because tRump is craven for money and wants so desperately to make a deal for a hotel in Russia that he worships Putin. Plus so many of his suspicious loans came from Putin / Russia he adores Putin. That means his core base supporters, the maga must love Putin also. What do they love? They love he restored a white straight cis society that government officially recognizes the Christian religion as the state religion. That is what the Fundamentalist Christians here desperately want. They want a leader like Putin that will do it here. Scary as fuck to me. Hope all is well in your home. Hugs. Scottie

The problem is, if they get the leader they want because we don’t get our vote out, the leader they’ll actually get not only be like Putin, it will be Putin. He’ll squish the Republicans like bugs and just take over. I don’t understand why they don’t see it’s not a game.

Hi Ali. Money is why. Greed. tRump wants desperately to build in Russia for some inroads to the oligarchy. He needs god Putin’s blessing, but to get it he must please Putin. Giving him Ukraine might do it. Putin was very happy with Vance as VP. The billionaires and millionaires want money more than democracy. They see democracy as a hindrance to making more of their precious money. See they know they can leave, do to other countries to get away from the horrible conditions here.
