I hate wordpress. I wrote an entire 6 long paragraph explanation of why I was not posting and what has changed since Monday. I went to add something and lost the entire post. All of it. I am too tired to add it again. Hugs. Scottie

I hate when that happens. Get some rest, and feel better.

Hi Janet. Thank you. WordPress can be so frustrating since they went to the block editor. Before that it was working great. Back then I was paying $300 a year offering me access to tech support. They told me it was profit driven and it was all about catering to phones and tablets. So us computer users don’t figure into their thinking. Sad to say but they are going for the larger market. It’s possible to select the prior editor. Or at least that’s my understanding. Up on the top line of the “New Post” page, there’s a 3 line “hamburger” menu. Under that you can choose “Visual Editor” or “Code Editor”. I’m not sure that’s what you are looking for, but figured I’d mention it.

Hi Janet. The way I get back to the old classic editor is when getting ready to write a post click the + symbol, then in the search box type CL, that gives you a choice of a few things, classic is one of them. Click classic. That displays a gray bar, click the gray bar and the entire classic menu is back. But the problem is you used to be able to post links and videos in classic, but now if you do it will wipe out everything you wrote, and now there is no way to get it back. Again you used to be able to use the undo button and get stuff back, but they don’t want people to use classic so they are making it harder to post with it. But changing colors and making bold or quotes is so much easier in classic. Hugs. Scottie
