I like the music but can not understand a single word of the lyrics…that has been the ONLY thing I dislike about the Ramones.

I used to hear the original by The Chambers Brothers when I was young. I didn’t notice enunciation in this number, probably because I know the song. Boy, Ramones are fun! But, I agree, they could be saying anything!

George used to listen to them for hours…and sang the wrong lyrics to several of their songs. I began using ear plugs………lol
