I hate liking this, because the news reporter is using clickbait questions to (I hope!) share information that’s been out there for over a week about the date system for Social Security, and framing the questions to leave space to believe that the fraud claims are real even as they’ve already been proven false days ago. I wish US news would finally get back with the program of reporting facts. It’s a thing that’s ticked me off since the early 90s when they just got brazen about not fully reporting stuff, and a person had to subscribe to The Nation to get the rest of the story. (I’m sure it was earlier than that and I just didn’t pick up on it thanks to reporters like Peter Jennings, Walter Cronkite, Linda Ellerbee, and more.)
