I indulge in this every year. Maybe there are others here who haven’t, but would like to enjoy the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 marathon on Shout! TV, so here’s the scoop:

Originally airing for 11 seasons from 1988 to 1999, Mystery Science Theater 3000 became one of the most beloved cult TV shows of all time. I was not an every episode viewer.
I remember one episode in particular, some forgotten story about a prehistoric he-man probably rescuing the fair maiden, where our hero made his way to the top of a cliff, dug around in some shrubberies, and came up with his hang glider.
They didn’t even bother to disguise the aluminum struts as something contemporaneous.
In the midst of the expected snark, the comment was just “You have GOT to be KIDDING me!!”
Only time I saw the crew break character.

I enjoy it really well. I think we watched it more when it was 2K; SciFi (before it was SyFy) used to run it. I really enjoy it being on as an alternative to football, but that’s only a personal opinion. 😉
