Not my prank.
I used to work as a timekeeper at a manufacturing shop. They were big enough that they made their own tooling.
One April First I was reviewing the calls where supervisors passed on call outs. Our tooling managers was sounding more and more beleaguered as he reported and forwarded his team’s call outs, one after the other.
Then every one of them showed up for work, on time, laughing, and ready to make tools.
He was a good boss.
