These are informational, rather than fun, except that Pete Buttigieg is fun even while serious. I’d like to see him run for something this time. Then, any time a very wealthy person thinks of others before themselves, it’s good news; Meals On Wheels is a fine thing.

      And, yes, I’d read they were doing that with WIC. And wondered about the facts that both RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz advocate eating real, whole foods, which have really not been what many would find affordable even before these days. But now, whew! And our Friendship Meals, (Meals On Wheels) has had funding cuts, requiring yet more volunteers. So far in my town, that’s all, but 2 or 3 towns to the North have had to close their senior centers and their meals programs. sigh

      1. He keeps popping up when I dive into youtube shorts. I’ve never seen him serious before…

        For contrast, here’s one where he tries a recipe his followers alerted him to – where he’s just scrolling through a bunch of comments, that’s them suggesting the inset video to him. Anyway, another recipe I should try:

        1. He is pretty funny! I don’t know if he’ll convince me to eat black beans if I’m not blindfolded, but I enjoyed this! Thanks, MDavis.

          I bet he got serious on that one, because so many people already had trouble affording food, without the senseless cuts in federal funding. It is sad, and enraging.
