Rolling Stone reports:
Donald Trump ended his pre-midterm rally blitz in disgusting fashion, calling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “an animal,” championing the death penalty, and giddily imagining the prison rape of the journalist who reported on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “The leaking from the Supreme Court is unbelievable,” the former president said Monday night at a rally in Ohio.
“But you get the information very easily. You tell the reporter who is it … and if the reporter doesn’t want to tell you it’s ‘bye bye.’ The reporter goes to jail. When the reporter learns he’s going to be married to a certain prisoner who’s extremely strong, tough, and mean, he will say, ‘you know, I think I’m going to give you the information.’” He laid out the same fantasy at a rally in Texas last month. The audience burst out in laughter, just as they did Monday night in Ohio.

Sadly, delusional evangelicals and Republican billionaires are now the foundation of the US’s political structure.
“…imprisoning journalists who publish classified information.”
What do you suggest we do to people who steal it?
I guess he’d know alot about it since he’s had so much experience as a rapist.
And yet is more popular within the GOP than any Dem within our own. We should be trying to figure out why that is.
He’s driving more people to the polls than the non-fascist Dems are, thats a problem for OUR party, not theirs.

Again we’d have seen a lot more if everything wasn’t maximally-filibustered and obstructed and made into yet another debt-ceiling shutdown stunt.

The majority of Americans do not vote because they can’t get to the polls or because they are so disaffected by past elections. And whats worst is that young voters are less likely to be engaged in politics because the dinosaurs in Congress have ignored every single one of their voting issues.
And thats on BOTH parties because we’ve got leadership in both parties that were born in the friggin 40s and do not represent the majority of Americans or our interests. The Rs at least believe their crazy-ass convictions where Dems are just trying to make everyone happy, mostly end up making their donors/wall street/billionaires happy.
Again, You dont just expect people to vote for you because you think that should be enough, and thats all dems run on. Meanwhile, Republicans ACTUALLY GET SHIT DONE for their voters.
Repealed RvW, stacked the courts, thwarted any real legislative changes, etc. etc. How bad are the Dems at this if we didnt see any of this coming?
