Tyler Perry Offers $100,000 Reward For Information On Killing Of Gay Man
Josiah “Jonty” Robinson, a singer in Grenada, was found dead on a beach last month, with an autopsy reportedly concluding that he’d been strangled.

Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry is hoping to find answers in the killing of Josiah “Jonty” Robinson, offering $100,000 to anyone with information that leads to a conviction.
Perry announced the reward Wednesday on Instagram after 24-year-old Robinson, an openly gay singer in Grenada, was found dead on a local beach last month. Perry, a writer, director and producer known for wholesome comedies featuring mostly Black casts, said his friend Yvette Noel-Schure was in tears when she told him about the killing.
“My soul ached as she shared that he was a young, gifted singer who was murdered because he was gay,” he wrote. “Yvette and I are offering a $100,000 dollar reward to anyone who brings forth information that leads to the conviction of the murderer.”
Robinson’s body was reportedly discovered in the same area of Grenadian town Morne Rouge where he had performed songs the day prior.
Speaking to The New Today, a source close to the Royal Grenada Police Force said an autopsy concluded that Robinson was strangled and thrown into the ocean. The local outlet later reported that police had questioned several people without making a breakthrough in the case.
Elsewhere in his Instagram post, Perry reflected on how Robinson’s death echoed similar tragedies from recent years.
“My mind immediately went to … [Matthew] Shepard, and all the other victims of racist, homophobic, antisemitic, xenophobic, senseless violence,” he said, referring to a gay student at the University of Wyoming whose 1998 killing sparked calls for stronger protections against hate crimes.
In a Wednesday essay for British Vogue, friend Tenille Clarke said that Robinson, who described himself on social media as a “Youth Ambassador,” lived as “an outspoken, openly gay man” in an environment that was hostile at times.
“While Pride month is celebrated annually in metropolises such as New York … his approach to activism in the Caribbean as a member of the LBGTQ community – his voracious desire to live in his simple, beautiful truth – often became a cyclic matter of life or death,” she wrote.

How does this make any sense? What is the causal effect between gay people existing and showing revenge nudes in public of someone without their consent. She asks why people are upset over her pushing them on her supporters and displaying them in a committee hearing but not upset Hunter put them on the internet. Because Marge, they are his pictures or him / his genitals so he has the right to do that, you don’t have that right without his permission. Plus the Federal House of Representatives is not the place for such disrespect and disregard for decorum. This is again an internet troll trying to justify doing something that hurts others for her own gratification. Hugs
It’s OK for Greene to send a link to a pornographic video to her followers because some schools have a book about a penguin with two dads.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continues to face blowback for her decision to show naked pictures of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden at a House Oversight Committee hearing last week, and now she’s arguing that it was OK to show the pictures in Congress because LGBTQ+ kids exist.
“The same people offended by this,” she wrote, sharing a screenshot of the pictures with some parts blacked out, “support genital mutilation of children, sexualizing kids with LGBTQ agenda books in school, support men dressed in drag showing their genitals to kids at parades and drag shows and would give anything to have this kind of proof to use against” Donald Trump’s elder sons Eric and Donald Jr.

Last week, the Republican House Oversight Committee held a hearing that was ostensibly about two IRS whistleblowers who claimed that the Department of Justice slow-walked prosecution of the president’s son over a tax matter because he was receiving preferential treatment.
House Republicans convened the hearing despite the fact that Hunter Biden agreed to plea guilty to two charges of failing to pay federal income taxes and one charge related to gun possession in an agreement with federal prosecutors this past June. He does not work in the White House, and he holds no public office.
The hearing devolved when Greene claimed to have pictures of Hunter Biden allegedly having sex with sex workers, screenshots from a video he uploaded to a website, and she showed the pictures at the Oversight hearing. Democrats were quick to point out that the pictures didn’t prove wrongdoing and that they’re a form of the “pornographic content” that Greene herself has built a reputation of opposing, even referring to sex education books as pornography and saying that they “groom” children.
“Today’s hearing is like most of the majority’s investigations and hearings: a lot of allegations, zero proof, no receipts, but apparently some d**k pics,” out Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) said at the hearing.
Greene then sent a fundraising email to her supporters that included a link to a video with the nude pictures of Hunter Biden, sharing the pornographic images with a large audience of unknown ages, leading to accusations of possibly distributing pornography to minors.
She has faced criticism since last week for her actions. Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe David Lowell, filed a complaint with the House Ethics Committee, saying that Greene “lowered herself, and by extension the entire House of Representatives, to a new level of abhorrent behavior that blatantly violates House Ethics rules and standards of official conduct.”
“Rather than evaluate the credibility of the IRS agents’ testimony or review our tax laws, Ms. Greene sought to use the power of her office to generate some clicks online, fundraise, and provide sensationalist clips for Fox News at the expense of harassing and embarrassing Mr. Biden, a private citizen,” Lowell wrote. “This political stunt by Ms. Greene will go down as a historic event unbecoming of any member of Congress and beneath the dignity of the House of Representatives.”
In her tweet, Greene claimed that “the corrupt DOJ has not prosecuted Hunter Biden” even though he was charged by federal prosecutors last month and agreed to a plea deal with the DOJ.

Next time, instead of arguing whether America was founded on ‘christianity”, ask them why it is so important for them to make their (incorrect) point.
Okay, we were founded on Christian principles of slavery, and women as chattel with no vote, natives were stripped of their land and other rights, and only white male property owners could vote. Not to mention child labor was rampant, the majority of the country were small farmers, divorce was nearly impossible and so on.
Hurray! What is you want NOW? You want to reinstitute all of that? No, they will likely say, they just want “Christian principles” reinstitute. Like what? Name them, specifically. They will be likely more in line with Christian nationalism — no LBGT rights, minorities voting is restricted, reduction in social safety net, more deregulation and so on.
So now you can drill down — what does Christianity have to say about laws that control pollution, radioactive waste, plastics in our food, chemicals in the water you drink? They will give you mumbo jumbo about freedom, and all that. “”So why do we have to be a Christian nation” to achieve your goals of less regulation?
What it will likely come down to is morals and values. Again, we can hit hard back — you mean no divorce? Because Jesus had a lot to say about it. Premarital sex? Birth control? IF you want to talk about morals, let’s talk about children going to bed or to school hungry, of which millions do. What about the homeless? Again, we don’t need Christian nationalism to tackle those issues.
It wil come down to nothing at all — just a vague desire to make people go to church more, pray more, and be more aligned with god or something. “So you want to force people to pray?”
I could go on, but you just have to nail them down on specifics. Hawley is just about control — they don’t want drag queens, people having wanton sex, abortion, and all that. Force them to admit that.

GQP ads constantly have Russian troops, ships and MiGs because they use creative agencies in Russia, because few US agencies often full of GQP intended victims will do work for them.
Creative houses use the stock images they have on hand. That’s why so much Russian stuff shows up in their ads.

The current law states that all persons either born in the US or (with few exceptions) legally resident when they turn 18, and identified as male at birth are required to register for the Selective Service when they turn 18, no exceptions. If you are an American citizen living abroad, you must still register. If you are a legal resident alien, you must still register. If you are in a prison or mental asylum, you must still register. If you are here under a diplomatic passport (say, a parent works at an embassy or consulate) or have a tourist or student visa, you do not need to register. People who were identified as female at birth are NOT required to register for the Selective Service, and in fact trying to register can get you in legal trouble for filing a “frivolous” legal document (not sure if it has ever been prosecuted, but it is in the regulations.)
If they are going to make transmen register, then they must also make transwomen exempt. They will also need to clarify at what point relative to the age of 18 this will kick in: is it enough to identify as trans, or will they need to have passed some benchmark in transitioning? What if a person comes out as trans after they are 18, but before they turn 25 (the age that your registration remains in effect)? And if transwomen are not exempt, they they should make registration mandatory for ALL 18 year olds regardless of gender identity: there is no longer any restriction from women serving in combat, after all. Maybe if their precious daughters are required to register, and fact the very serious penalties for not registering, we can finally get rid of this whole Selective Service idiocy once and for all.

I think they claimed she was ineligible for some reason. And it was a provisional ballot and was not counted. Further it was a poll worker that told her to fill out a provisional ballot.
