Some short videos about trans kids and the harrasment and troubles they face. Anti-trans laws / hater parents do not help

Due to not feeling well and the number of videos, even though they are short so are in foreign languages so I had to use the CC for those, so it took almost a week and a half to watch these and post them.  So I did not include because it caused me to trigger, like the ones where parents beat their gender nonconforming children, to make them be the gender they were assigned at birth.  That is like trying to beat the gay out of a kid, you can scare them into hiding it but you can’t make it go way or change it.  I simply wanted to give those that don’t understand trans kids or trans people a way to see what it is these people are dealing with.  Maybe it will change some people from being haters to being trans supporters.   It only take a few people to believe in a LGBTQIA persons worth to make a huge difference in their lives, maybe even save a life.  I hope people will take their time and watch the videos as I did, a few at a time over how ever long you wish.   If you watch only one, please watch the first one where a trans hater learns that the trans neighbor she like was trans, and well she learned and grew.   Hugs.  Scottie

Get Off My Turf! is a short film about a transgender woman who finds out that her neighbour is transphobic. The film delves into some of the modern depictions of transphobia and explores friendship, solidarity and conflict between two very different women.
SYNOPSIS: Clara is a girl who cannot show herself as she is. There is something that can control her, and forces her to live under a name and appearance that are not real. “I’m not him” will show the harsh reality to which transgender children like Clara are exposed, as well as the strength they have to move forward.
“A trans boy struggles with dysphoria and anxiety as he contemplates a night out with friends.”

So for my theater class, our final was to create a short film. I decided to do a film about a female to male transgender teen. I apologize for the binder, it’s really bad. I didn’t own a real binder. Ignore that please. I hope you enjoy it.
This short documentary about transgender ftm boys was created to bring more awareness to the transgender community. We don’t personally know any mtf transgender girls so please no controversy over the subject. We own all rights to this film except the music, the quote, and the statistic. This is the first film that we’ve produced and we plan on creating more shorts. We hope you enjoy it!! *** The music on this one got louder than the voices, so I turned the sound off and used the CC. Hugs. Scottie ***
A trans themed short film, created by an all trans cast production team. On remote northern Iceland two strangers connect and realize they have a lot more in common than previously assumed.
Young and Trans. Watch this powerful short film challenging the stigma of what it means to be trans today. Let’s come together for a brighter future.
We have been filming transgender boy Kai since he was 9 years old. In this film, Kai is 14 and reflects on coming out and taking hormone blockers. We also hear from Alex, 18 who is also trans and has started taking testosterone. Kai meets with Tayler, 19 and they both visit the Museum of Transology, where founder E-J Scott gives them a tour.

This is 5 years of a 10 year project, filming Kai, as part of a wave of trans youth, who have been given the best opportunity in life, never having to go through ‘the wrong puberty’.

My Genderation is an ongoing film project focusing on trans lives and trans experiences. All our content is created by trans people, about trans people, for a much wider audience. Currently run by Fox Fisher and Owl Fisher.
Come As You Are follows Theo, a transgender female in a conservative household. This film is dedicated to the God of love, regardless of who you are or where you come from
Featuring young trans actors in trans roles, ‘Listen’ honestly and frankly depicts some of the myriad struggles experienced daily by trans children and teenagers, giving a much needed voice to this often maligned section of the community.

Seriously, Why Do Trump Fans KEEP SUPPORTING HIM?? | Christopher Titus | Armageddon Update

Working on two posts I started yesterday when I couldn’t hold anything down or anything in.

Starting about Friday I was starting to feel “under the weather”.   All weekend I got feeling worse.  I really was starting to suffer on Monday.  Buy Tuesday at 3 am the stomach distress was really painful, and by 4 am I was throwing up.  Also I was having with the other end, the part attached to what I sit on.  All day I would try to eat and end up in the bathroom.  Also a lot of gas was coming both ways when there was nothing solid to come out either end.  Plus I felt horrible.  I spent most of the day in bed Tuesday, I had spent a lot of Monday in bed, some of the day Sunday in bed … I think you can see the progression.

I let a lot of people down on Tuesday.  Randy had gotten me a gift and wanted to talk.   I was so sick that I barely was able to open the package before a trip to the bathroom and back to bed.  Ron had planned to go out for lunch, it was going to be a celebration of returning to more normal times, because the only time since covid hit in 2020 we have been out to eat was with Randy, and then again with Randy and his folks.  Sadly it won’t happen this week.

This morning I woke at 4 am, my normal time to wake.  I walked to the bathroom and I was so nauseous I knew I better not try to get up.  I stayed in bed, until 5:30 am.  Got up, even had a couple cups of coffee and tried to eat a bit of food.  It was a very small bit.  But it stayed down.  Until …

Ron got up and I started moving around helping him get the trash ready to be taken out.  The Park now insists it all be out by 8 am, but rarely do they pick it up right after that.  But if they do and you call or put trash out after they go by, they won’t pick it up, but leave it.   Before it was 10 am and everyone seemed to have it out by then.  If someone forget and put it out after, when a park worker went by on their golf cart they would just grab it, taking it with them. But the park is going much more corporate and much more focused on profit over people’s happiness.

All the movement and bending caused both ends to open up again and expel their contents.  Damn it.   So I am not quite as bad as yesterday but still not able to function, and as you see thinking is harder for me than normal.  Ron has given me medication to help me with it all.     I am trying to catch up, but before anyone goes to the effort to remind my self to take care of myself, I am doing that, and trust me I am putting needing to throw up, get to the toilet, and lay down as much as I can stand with my bone, spine, muscle pain.

So the post I started yesterday morning will again have to wait as I go lay down.  Oh the pill Ron gave me is working, but not enough.  Best to all, and sorry I missed your posts and comments.   While I might be able to sometimes read from the toilet, it is often not the first thing on my mind.  😥🤢🤮😣Hugs.  Best Wishes.  Scottie

I started this post about 8:20 am right after Ron took the trash out.  It is now 1 pm, and I am going back to bed again.   Hugs.  Scottie

So yesterday was a bad costly day

Some background for those new here.   We take care of three cats, two also mooch / are fed by the neighbors also.   One is our house cat Odie, then there is Tupac who is an inside / outside cat, and then there is Smokey an outside feral female who hangs out with Tupac and she will come into the family room to eat but won’t stay.  Even though Tupac eats most of his food at our home, spends most of his day inside with us, if it is a nice night a lot of nights he likes to spend outside some or all of the night.  If it is cold or raining he stays inside.   Even though others feed them, it always seems to fall to Ron and me who takes Tupac to the vet and pay the bills, even though it seems the others have a lot more money.  Maybe that is why.  When Ron told the neighbor woman today who we see feeding them the costs, well she did not offer to help.

We have been noticing Tupac was getting thinner and thinner and thinner.  Last year when we took him in for his shots and deworming he was also thin, but then once dewormed started to gain weight.  But like I said, we noticed that he was losing weight fast.   The last week or longer, he has spent more and more time inside.  Then last Wednesday morning he threw up a lot of green bile looking liquid.  Well sometimes he catches local rabbits or squirrels, other small game and eats it.   So we worry he will get something.  Or he will eat something that will make him sick that someone left out or an anti-cat person who wanted to poison the cats.  His stomach made sounds all the night before and that day.  But Thursday morning I found clear liquid throw up in the kitchen.  Friday morning I found the same thing in the hallway.  He had been staying in all week, which was not normal, as I already said.  Again he was not eating or even drinking.  Ron talked to one of the other people feeding them and she said Tupac quit eating last week also.  I got him to drink a little water.

When Ron got up Friday morning I told him we should call the vet’s office.   We had been talking about it, and knowing it was Friday I did not want to pay the costs of an emergency weekend visit, and Tupac was getting more thin and not eating or drinking.   But as we had no appointment the vet’s office said we could bring him in, drop him off and they would see him when they could.   That cost us $110.00 alone.  But the worst was to come.  Turned out our worst fears were not the problem, which meant Tupac was not going to die of feline leukemia or need surgery we couldn’t afford.  But … it turns out he had an infection in his ear, maybe from a fight where he got scratched.  The vet cleaned all that and gave him something for it.   But … It seems his thyroid is seriously jacked up, running really too high.  The test reads normal at 4 and Tupac was 12.  He will need daily medication.  The vet gave us two weeks of pills and we need to contact an online animal pharmacy for a medicated cream to rub on his ear which takes the place of the pills.  We have never been able to get a cat to take a pill.  This morning Ron tried to get Tupac to eat and take the pill.   He refused both.

But then the hammer dropped.  The total vet bill came to $530.00 and that was before we order the cream she gave us a prescription for.  That is going to be more expensive than the pills the vet warned us.  We had only $270.00 in both bank accounts until Ron gets his monthly Social Security late in the month.  I transferred money from savings.  So with Ron’s medication in January needing to be fully paid, something in February that needed to be paid, and the cat’s vet bill I had taken out of savings so far this year a total of $1,140.00 with no clue how to put it back if medicine and medical bills don’t slow down.  I guess my new glasses will have to wait until fall, if not until next year.

What had made the day even worse for me and upset me was that I had spent all week catching up with comments and others blogs.  Seriously when I went to bed Thursday evening I had everything caught up.   Friday morning due to Ron having made a large roast, potatoes, corn, and gravy supper meal there were a lot of dishes and kitchen mess.  So while we waited to hear from the vet, I helped Ron clean up and do dishes.  Then in the morning while doing dishes Ron asked me to make a tomato red sauce.   I had to use tomato puree instead of sauce as Ron got the wrong stuff.   It made a nice sweet basil sauce.   Ron made his wonderful meatballs.   But by the time I got the sauce done, the bread ready to bake, the plates, strainers, and serving things set up I was wiped out.  I had the water ready for the spaghetti but I couldn’t stay standing up even with all the break through medications.  I was done, so Ron took over.

What this did blog wise was make me basically miss an entire day and by the time I opened up the bell notifications just before going to bed, I had lost some of the older comments and posts.   Well there is another day.   As always if you leave a comment and I have not responded to it in a few days send me another.  I am not sure how much I can do today because I am already suffering badly sitting in my chair.  I suffered through making eggs for breakfast because Ron loves how I make eggs over medium, cooked whites, runny yellow yoke.   So now you’re caught up.  Hugs.  Scottie

Wasserman-Schultz Calls For Ousting “Super-Spreader” Florida Surgeon General As Measles Outbreak Widens

This surgeon general is totally unqualified for his position.  He was picked for his political stance and willingness to lie and edit official studies to shore up DeathSatnis’s political positions.   When DeathSantis tried to force the state University to make give him a position and a high salary, the school refused saying he was totally unqualified.  For those that don’t know, measles is extremely dangerous, leading to lifelong illnesses and medical issues such as losing your ability to hear, along with death.  Measles also kills your immune system so you lose all prior immunities and can make it so your system struggles to gain the immunity to other diseases.   Below I listed some of the things that can happen.   Measles are not a joke, you do not want your child exposed to the real thing, get them vaccinated.  Hugs.  Scottie

Long-term effects of measles

For every 10,000 children infected with measles, 2,000 will be hospitalized; 1,000 will develop ear infections with the potential for permanent hearing loss; 500 will develop pneumonia; and 10 to 30 will die, said Hotez, who is also dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

Measles often leaves patients vulnerable to secondary bacterial infections, such as pneumonia, one of the most common causes of death in measles patients, said Patricia Stinchfield, president of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases.

Measles also causes “immune amnesia,” in which the immune system loses its ability to fight infections that a patient was previously immune to, Cherry said. The virus wipes out 11% to 73% of a person’s antibodies — both those acquired through infection and vaccination — which can leave patients at increased risk from viruses such as the flu and bacteria that cause pneumonia and skin infections.  A devastating long-term complication of measles called subacute sclerosing panencephalitis, which is more common in countries where the virus remains endemic. The fatal condition can cause memory loss, irritability, disturbances in movement, seizures and blindness, and can develop six to eight years after a child has apparently recovered from measles. Although anti-seizure drugs can sometimes ease symptoms, they don’t cure the disease.  Encephalitis. About 1 child out of every 1,000 who get measles will develop encephalitis (swelling of the brain) that can lead to convulsions and can leave the child deaf or with intellectual disabilityDeath. Nearly 1 to 3 of every 1,000 children who become infected with measles will die from respiratory and neurologic complications.

Miami’s NBC affiliate reports:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz held a press conference on school safety measures Tuesday and called for the replacement of Florida’s surgeon general — as the measles outbreak in South Florida continues to expand.

She called for the termination of Dr. Joseph Ladapo and for Governor DeSantis to replace him with a public health expert, following the surgeon general’s controversial handling of the outbreak.

Ladapo told parents of unvaccinated children that it is their choice whether their students attend class — a contravention of federal guidelines calling for their mandatory exclusion. “Surgeon General Ladapo is a misinformation super-spreader,” Rep. Wasserman Schultz said during the press conference.

Tampa’s Fox affiliate reports:

The measles outbreak has made its way to Central Florida. Over the weekend, the Florida Department of Health confirmed a tenth case out of Polk County.

The case is travel-related, and the patient is between 20 and 24 years old, making them the first Florida adult to be infected with the virus this year.

It comes after nine children and teens were infected with measles in Broward County. Measles is extremely contagious. Unvaccinated people have about a 90% chance of being infected if exposed.

Dr. Joseph Ladapo is a threat to public health, the exact opposite of his job description.
Want to bet Death Santis keeps him?

He was a campaign prop for the anti-masking and anti-vaccination hysteria. Now that that’s died down, there is no reason to keep him around.

In a sane world, his license to practice would be revoked.

In a sane world, he wouldn’t be the person who had to sign off on revoking medical licenses.

if kids go deaf, or they die, or are sick for a month, it’s a small price to pay for freedom from an overreaching dictatorship of democratically elected government.

But if measles made them gay, there would be a stampede of parents getting their children vaccinated.

It just boggles the mind that vaccines have become a partisan issue.

As Surgeon-General, Ladapo would be the one to sign off on any revocations. He is not going to quit this sweet gig that pays well and gives his quackery a veneer of legitimacy.

Waiting for the Florida surgeon general to declare that measles is a hoax.

The reality is the majority of FL voters have made clear they’re okay with having this quack and the party that enables him in charge.
Until that changes, he won’t be going anywhere.

Let’s talk about measles in 2024….

FL Surgeon General: It’s Up To Parents Of Unvaxxed If Children Should Attend Class During Measles Outbreak

And this scammer con artist who has been accused of falsifying the results of a “vaccine injury risk” study along with being debunked by the large medical organizations, is taking the political way forward rather than protect the children by telling parents the best thing they can do is get their child vaccinated.  If you are anti-vaccine think about this, the only children at risk are the unvaccinated!   What does that tell you!   Hugs.  Scottie

The Daily Beast reports:

While measles cases are popping up across the country, nowhere has been hit as hard as Manatee Bay Elementary School in Weston, just west of Fort Lauderdale. There, a single case reported Thursday spiraled into a half-dozen infected students by Tuesday evening. John J. Sullivan, a spokesperson for Broward County Public Schools, said the school underwent a deep cleaning and was safe for vaccinated students to continue going to class this week.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo wrote a letter Tuesday that urged the parents of unvaccinated students to keep them home until the school is confirmed to be rid of measles entirely. He said the infectious period would likely be over by March 7, and that the district would provide materials to keep the students learning while they’re physically away from school.

Read the full article. According to school officials, around 11% of the students have not gotten the traditional childhood vaccinations. Ladapo, as most of you surely know, is infamously anti-vax and has been accused of falsifying the results of a “vaccine injury risk” study.

Measles is mainly airborne – a “deep cleaning” is theater, not protection. A sane state would forbid unvaxxed kids at school, but of course a sane state would have no unvaxxed kids except for the very rare ones who can’t tolerate or respond to vaccinations.

Not only is Ladapo’s letter to parents full of very bad advice (like deferring to parents to decide whether or not to expose their unvaccinated children to a virus that can be deadly, or allow those children who may already be infected to spread it to others at school), it’s appalling that nowhere in his letter does he urge the parents of unvaccinated students to get them vaccinated. How does this guy still have a medical license?

The Florida Board of Medicine “consists of fifteen members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.”

https://flboardofmedicine.g…

The surgeon general is supposed to be a public safety officer.

What the hell is this guy doing in this position?

MAGA loving Ron DeathSentence.

The answer is…(drum roll)…Florida!

As much damage as he can, while he grifts,

Collecting a no show paycheck.

Two or three of them. He got a couple university positions in the bargain for an income of around $430,000.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, this outbreak is in Weston, which is ranked a few slots below Palm Beach as Florida’s seventh-wealthiest city.

In January 2024, Weston home prices were up 90.9% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $3.1 million.

“until the school is confirmed to be rid of measles entirely”

I’m curious, since he doesn’t trust scientists to say what will help fight measles, who does he trust to say the school is confirmed to be rid of it? An exorcist?

He’ll bring the pink-haired prophetess in. If she doesn’t know, no one does.

And they’ve already decided that childhood diseases are no big deal. Never mind that measles can cause encephalitis, blindness, sterility…

Natural Herd Immunity did this…

Of course there is no natural immunity to something your immune system hasn’t contacted, so naturally, this happens.

It is said the sheep follow the Shepherd…
Yet no one discusses that it is the Shepherd who eats the sheep.

Canadian Doctor Shot By IDF Describes Gaza’s Devastated Medical System | Dr Tarek Loubani | TMR

Please watch this video.   It is so important to understand just what Israel is doing to hospitals, medical providers, and how they just don’t see any Palestinian or their supporters as humans, as people.  To the Israelis, they are all something to be wiped out, to be terrorized to nonexistence.  Hugs.  Scottie

Emma speaks with Dr. Tarek Loubani, associate professor at the University of Western Ontario and leader of the Glia Project, to discuss what is happening on the ground now that hospitals in Gaza are mostly non-operational.
