The Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced 34-year-old Michael Naab and 37-year-old Amber Naab were arraigned Monday in Orchard Park Town Court. Both are charged with one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a class “D” felony.
According to the district attorney’s office, they are accused of intentionally presenting falsified COVID-19 vaccine cards at Highmark Stadium for the Buffalo Bills game on January 15 in violation of the vaccination policy.
In December, New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill into law that made falsification of COVID-19 vaccination records a crime.
“Individuals who misrepresent their vaccination history, not only jeopardize their own health, but the health of all those they come into contact with. This legislation ensures that as New York opens up and many businesses choose to rely on checking vaccination status, the falsification of vaccination records will not be tolerated,” the governor said in December.
The district attorney’s office said this is the first case to be prosecuted in Erie County following the passage of that bill.
This legislation makes it clear that presenting a fake vaccine card, with the intent to defraud another person or entity, is a crime. I am committed to keeping the residents of Erie County safe, which includes upholding laws related to public health. These two defendants are accused of using a fake vaccine card to intentionally violate the rules at the stadium, potentially putting the health of other fans at risk. As I have stated before, if you present a fake vaccine card, you will be prosecuted.– Erie County District Attorney John J. FlynnMichael Naab and Amber Naab are scheduled to return February 22 at 5:00 p.m. for a felony hearing and were released on their own recognizance as the charge is a non-qualifying for bail. If convicted of the charge, they face a maximum of 7 years in prison.

Hello Polly. I am not familiar with the area. Are there a lot of anti-vax and anti-science people there? Or is it a maga strong hold?
How is upper state New York in general? I know a couple up there; the husband is retired military 20+ year E8 and they are liberal. As they grew up in the Evans Mills area and went back there when he retired, I figured the upper state area was liberal.

This sort of covert, defiant behavior by radical-extremists FOR in-your-face civil disobedience and criminal negligence/manslaughter… was only a matter of time. I KNEW arrogant Prima-donnas would begin doing this type of criminal behavior if COVID-19 (and all its variants & future variants) were allowed to keep morphing into newer, smarter, more vaxxed-resistant aerosol particle cells.
Now it has started. It’s here. 😔 I guess 903,105 Americans in body bags (and counting) from COVID aren’t enough to get thru their 5-inch thick skulls, huh? 🤦♂️

Hello Professor. No it is not only not enough, but when one of their own is diagnosed with Covid and dies they deny it was covid. They refuse verified treatments and demand fake treatments pushed on right wing media instead. Doctors have been assaulted and hospitals sued to get them to change the diagnosis. Just as the litmus test for being in the Republican party is to believe tRump’s big lie about having won the 2020 election, now you have to deny covid as well. I know of people that have travelled 3 hours from our area for their covid shots so no one would know they got it. The idea these people have is that if they infect others that is not their fault and it is the problem of the other person. They feel no responsibility for their conduct or the consequences or their actions. They are accommodated and supported by politicians that are trying to get their state business up and running at any cost to build the state coffers and to please their wealthy donors. The cost is the illness, death, or financial ruin of the lower income people who get sick while being forced into unsafe working conditions to make profit for the upper incomes. Covid is not part of the class warfare in the US. Best wishes wonderful friend.

Scottie, I have no direct recollection of having to present proof of vaccination after any flu shots. Even the CDC acknowledges “Covid” symptoms and flu-type symptoms as being virtually identical. Want to know why so many people test positive? Review the explanation for the PCR test and see how that has been used to fudge the numbers of “Covid” cases.
You should also review the meaning of asymptomatic. When people talk about asymptomatic spread, that is an oxymoron. All of these people who are accused of spouting nonsense and misinformation and disinformation are not doing any such thing. The people making the accusations are engaging in projection, as in they are deflecting away from the fact that they are perpetuating nonsense and misinformation and disinformation.
