Hello Nan. Beyond the political what frightens me, yes frightens me is a couple things I seen yesterday and today. First a brawl at Golden Corral buffet restaurant. Over steak. Second a guy filmed himself driving down the highway, cutting someone off, they blew their horn, then on the video you see the first guy take a gun out of his center console, and when the second car comes up beside them he empties his gun out the rolled up side wind and his own windshield at the other car. They guy was filming himself doing this. He clearly did not know how to handle the gun and did not care how many other people were hurt. I drive, I use highways, I live in the same state as the gun shooter, I have lots of Golden Corral’s in the area. If regular people are this violent, I prefer the lockdown stay at home times. And then we have the politicians saying take your guns to poling places and if you don’t like what you see, just unplug the machines. If you don’t like what you see just stop others from voting. Wow, and democracy dies.
OT. Just got back up a little bit ago (it is nearly 7PM here. ) I had to lay down at 3PM. For the 4th time. My sugar is uncontrolled, going up and down. I got a letter from my insurance company saying that they won’t cover the insulin my doctor prescribed. I hate the greed of this country as well as the violence.

Of course it saddens me that you have these ongoing health problems, but now, on top of that, problems with the very medicine you need to control it!
As for the ongoing situation in this country … unlike you, I cannot spend my day reading and thinking about all the SHIT that’s going on. I can only take in so much and then I retreat. At my stage of life, there is little to nothing I can do so it’s simply not worth what time I have left to worry and fret about the “state of the union.”
Personally, it’s my belief that until this country gets rid of Trump (however that may happen), it’s going to continue to be torn apart. Yes, I realize there are others “waiting in the wings,” but one must admit … he is the cause célèbre behind most of what’s going on and I don’t think anyone else has the “talent.”

Hello Nan. I agree with you. I need to find time to just watch other things rather than politics. Ron is after me to do so. He does, he uses our streaming services. But when I try to watch a non-political or non-news I find my attention wanders and I just stop watching and go back to news.
There is no doubt that I am affected by what I watch. But also the other side of the coin is so many people don’t have the time to watch any of the news I do. They don’t know the information, so maybe they learn of it when I share it. That is my hope, that my channel is a way for people to just pop into, look that title, and read what interests them. My desire to offer to others an information source. But to do that I have to find a way to not sleep all day. 😀😃😣🥱

Of course you should continue to do what “feels good” to you … I’m just saying that personally, I can’t (or want to) do it to the extent that you do.
I will say this, however, your posts do offer info that I would probably never read on my own. Not all of it interests me (LGBTQ stuff in particular), but it does give me a peek into other stuff that’s going on. So continue on News Soldier!!

Hello Nan. I started posting some YouTube sites I don’t normally post. The science and more educational stuff. I have a ton of them, but I don’t often post them. I wonder why I never thought of it until now. Fraser Cain is the publisher of Universe Today, a space and astronomy news website founded in 1999. He’s also the co-host of Astronomy Cast, and co-creator of the Guide to Space video series on YouTube. He has a lot of space information and news on his channel.
