  1. Scottie, I just posted a comment and got this message on my screen:

    1. Hello Nan. Sorry I did not see this come in so I could help. I would tell you to ignore it and close the page or restart the browser. and then try to reopen the page. It happens if the server is getting more traffic than it can handle. So it has put the requests in a que.

  2. When I reloaded the page, the above comment showed, but not the one I made BEFORE the message came on the screen. Anyway, I’ll repeat it below. VERY strange things going on!

HA! She (the mayor) says she hopes the Republican Party of Florida will be doing its “due diligence on this issue.” HA AGAIN!!

One can’t help but wonder how much this is going on in other states!

Do you know what’s going on???

    1. Hello Nan. WordPress was having issues. I had several post creations issues where stuff I wanted to embed wouldn’t and then suddenly showed up. I suspect that WordPress was under a denial of service attack. Russia practicing to see how many things they can jam up should the US get in their face over Ukraine.

  3. Unconscionable … preying on the elderly!!! Is there no low to which the damned Republicans won’t stoop? Apparently not! I wish they’d come to my door … I would either smash their face or call the police, depending on my mood of the moment! Hugs

    1. Hello Jill. That was a point I just made to Nan. They wouldn’t come to your door. You are an educated person who speaks English well. They are preying on the lower income people who do not understand English so they can lie to them. The thing is the Republican party is touting how fast the state of Florida went Republican, and now we know tRump is not the only corrupt criminal Republican in Florida, the entire party is a criminal organization.

      1. Oh, since I live in a townhouse apartment complex in a neighborhood that is primarily Black, Hispanic and Muslin, they might well come to my door, but I can guarantee they’d beat a quick retreat as soon as I found out what they were up to and let them have a piece of my mind (as if I can spare any!).

You’re right … the Republican Party no longer stands for anything. I cannot find a single point that they’ve made other than putting down Democrats, Blacks, LGBTQ and every other group that doesn’t look or act quite like them. They are now the Party of Bigots (PoB).

        1. Yes, yes, yes! Thank you Jill. I keep trying to find a Republican policy that helps the people or country that is not giving tax cuts to the wealthy. They never talk about polices, they never talk about what they are for. They only rant about what they are against, they rant on what the other party is doing wrong yet again they never offer a solution or alternative plan. They have trained their followers to run entirely on emotion and that emotion is outrage. They are the party of perpetual anger.

          1. The thing to remember, Scottie, is that most of the Republicans in Congress are bought and paid for by the ultra-wealthy in this country and they could care less about those below the poverty level. And since Trump, it has become even worse, has become a cult fed by the wealthy. When they speak of tax cuts, they don’t mean for us … they mean for those like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos who already pay relatively little in taxes. Were it up to the Republicans, they would slash programs like ADC (Aid to Dependent Children), food stamps, Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid.
