  1. I was just about to sob when he said something about swamp-something and it was hilarious so I laughed and cried at the same time. I believe the same thing-they’re kids, and they’re all our kids and we love them. I have no words for this law, but we had the same under former Gov. Brownback. sigh Republicans work faster every chance they get to undermine or overturn progress of any sort.

    1. He has another one on the same subject about Arizona trying to do a bill to force teacher to inform parents if they hear, notice, know about, or suspect a kid of being gay or trans. I keep wondering if these attacks are funded by dark money as the trucker protest is in Canada and now they are trying to start in the US? These anti-LGBTQ+ are not just culture wars to stir up the base, these will get some kids hurt by unaccepting parents. Heck I read about a teacher who was complaining that she was expected to make kids in her class not pick on and insult the LGBTQ+ kids that she thinks should be insulted and made fun of. Give me strength but in 2022 I would have thought we had grown beyond the intolerance.

      1. I would like to think we could have, but boy they’ve all come out from under wherever their bigotry was, and fly their flags freely since Trump. I’m not blaming Trump for more than his own bigotry, but he made it ok for people to be overtly awful to other people. sigh
