  1. I tend to think there’s more to this story than what’s being reported … but if it does turn out to be accurate, it’s just one more sign of the ongoing deterioration of humanity that has been encouraged and promoted by one VERY sick individual.

    1. Hi Nan. Did you go to the link and read the story? I should have posted that instead of the short version, but I was in a rush and I have not felt well today.

It is accurate and here is a part. The 4-year-old was in the back seat of the car with a 3-year-old sibling, according to UPD, and when the officer realized how young the person with the gun was, he yelled, “Kid.”
The officer sustained a minor injury to his arm, but there were no additional injuries, according to the release. The father, who has not been publicly identified, is in custody facing charges of felony child abuse and threatening with the use of a dangerous weapon, UPD Sgt. Melody Cutler told CNN.
“This is a sad day for law enforcement and our community. To have an adult think it is okay to encourage a four-year-old to pull a firearm and shoot at police illustrates how out of hand the campaign against police has gotten,” Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera said in the release.

There are people today that think they are entitled to force others to do their will and a gun is the way others will obey them. These people run on emotion only. They do not try to hold in their anger, they use it to lash out at others thinking they are correct. They glory in their emotional release. I don’t know if the guy was on something or was a conspiracy nut but it is clear he had loaded guns with the safety off around 3 and 4 year old kids. He did not care if they shot themselves or others. Is he a sovereign citizen? Is he just a moron? I don’t know but I fear those for those kids.

      1. I REALLY hate to say it, but someone I know VERY well actually commented that it’s good to teach kids how to use a gun. When I mentioned the kid was 4 years old? Silence.

Your point about the safety being off? At the VERY LEAST, any gun owner with kids should make sure of this!!
