Tony Perkins: “Don’t Say Gay” Will Help Prevent STDs

Because we know that straight people do not get sexually transmitted diseases.    We know that denying kids / young adults with sexual educations including the use of condoms means kids won’t sexually transmitted diseases.  We know keeping sexual information about their body and how to ease their desires themselves with masturbation won’t prevent STDs.   It is all those gays’ fault because of the icky stuff they do with each other.   Just think of everything wrong in the world and put it on the LGBTQ+ especially them gays with same sex marriage.   Boy does that make their god angry.

Via email from hate group leader Tony Perkins:

If the CDC took COVID seriously, they’re doing the opposite for STDs. America’s public health agencies responded to COVID by quickly identifying how the disease was transmitted and recommending countermeasures. Oh, it’s an airborne virus? Let’s everybody cover their nose and mouth and stand a bit further apart.

If only we could figure out how sexually transmitted diseases were spread! Maybe we could use such information to ground our public health response. “If everybody did monogamous sex only,” Dr. Scott Field of the American College of Pediatricians said, “there would not be any STDs.”

STDs require much closer human contact than an airborne virus, but we’re still waiting for the CDC to recommend “social distancing” as a countermeasure to limit the spread of STDs.

As alarming as the rise in STDs may be, it isn’t the least bit surprising, especially among young people. Field attributed it to “policies, and the emphasis away from sexual fidelity.”

This is the natural outgrowth of the Left’s attempts to sexualize children and encourage sexual promiscuity throughout the education system.

To prevent this sexualized indoctrination, states have resorted to legislation. Earlier this year, Florida passed into law the Parental Rights in Education Act, which protects children in kindergarten through third grade from sexual indoctrination.

The bill attempted to give children at least a few years to learn — to read, write, add, tie their shoes — before dousing their imaginations in moral filth.

Instead, the Left wants to subject children to a radically opposite worldview, teaching them that only they can determine their identity, that they must do so according to their internal sexual feelings of the moment, and that, in fact, those sexual desires are their identity. How deceptive! How demonic!

As you may recall, the American College of Pediatricians is a tiny, far-right Christianist group that chose its name so that the public will confuse their pronouncements as coming from the highly regarded and pro-LGBTQ American Academy of Pediatrics.

Russia Vows To Move Nuclear Weapons To Baltic Sea Region If Finland And Sweden Decide To Join NATO

For those who say NATO cannot challenge Russia out of fears of his vague threats that he may use some form of nuclear weapons I present the next blackmail / extortion from Putin to get what he wants.   Yes and he will keep doing it if it works as will every other authoritarian fascist government.    I would point out that moving missiles is not needed as Russia has plenty of them that can fly very long distances and would easily reach Finland and Sweden.

The Washington Post reports:

Russia warned Finland and Sweden on Thursday that if they join NATO, Moscow will reinforce the Baltic Sea region, including by deploying nuclear weapons.

Dmitry Medvedev, a Putin ally who serves as deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said Thursday that NATO expansion would lead Russia to strengthen air, land and naval forces to “balance” military capability in the region.

“If Sweden and Finland join NATO, the length of the land borders of the alliance with the Russian Federation will more than double. Naturally, these boundaries will have to be strengthened,” he wrote on Telegram.

Russia threatens to move nukes to Baltic region if Finland, Sweden join NATO

Russia warned Finland and Sweden on Thursday that if they join NATO, Moscow will reinforce the Baltic Sea region, including with nuclear weapons.

The threat came a day after Finnish officials suggested that their country could request to join the 30-member military alliance within weeks and as Sweden mulled making a similar move.

Finland moves closer to joining NATO

Helsinki and Stockholm are officially nonaligned militarily, but they are reconsidering their status in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — leading to escalated warnings from Russia.

Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin who serves as deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said Thursday that NATO expansion would lead Moscow to strengthen air, land and naval forces to “balance” military capability in the region.

“If Sweden and Finland join NATO, the length of the land borders of the alliance with the Russian Federation will more than double. Naturally, these boundaries will have to be strengthened,” he wrote on Telegram.

“There can be no more talk of any nuclear-free status for the Baltic — the balance must be restored,” Medvedev said.

Putin’s war moves Finland and Sweden closer to joining NATO

His comments echo those of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who told British media last week that if the two Nordic countries join NATO, Russia would be forced to “rebalance the situation.” He added, “We’ll have to make our western flank more sophisticated in terms of ensuring our security.”

Putin cited his opposition to NATO expansion as the rationale for his invasion of Ukraine. His war may do the very thing he sought to prevent: cause the alliance’s membership to increase.

Adding Finland and Sweden to NATO would redraw Northern Europe’s security picture, bringing the alliance’s border right to the more than 800-mile Finnish-Russian frontier.

A key tenet of NATO is Article 5, an agreement that an armed attack on one member will be viewed as an attack on all, with an obligation for mutual defense. In both Finland and Sweden, that sounds increasingly appealing.

What is NATO, and why isn’t Ukraine a member?

In both countries, Russia’s attack on its neighbor Ukraine has led to a sharp shift in public sentiment on NATO, with more people supporting membership.

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said Wednesday that her country was reviewing the decision but could move quickly.

“We have to be prepared for all kinds of actions from Russia,” Marin told reporters. “I won’t give any kind of timetable when we will make our decisions, but I think it will happen quite fast — within weeks, not within months.”

Sweden’s ruling Social Democrats, who have traditionally opposed NATO membership, have also said they will review their position in the coming months.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters in Brussels last week that both countries meet alliance standards and would be welcomed should they wish to join.

“There are no other countries that are closer to NATO,” he said.

DeSantis signs 15-week abortion ban into law

https://www.wesh.com/article/desantis-signs-15-week-abortion-ban/39726431

Gov. Ron DeSantis held a news conference in Osceola County on Thursday, where he signed Florida’s bill banning abortions after 15 weeks into law.

He spoke from Nacion de Fe in Kissimmee, where signs read, “Florida is pro-life.”

“We are here today to defend those that can’t defend themselves,” he said. “It is the most significant protection for life that’s been enacted in this state in a generation.”

DeSantis said being a parent is a big responsibility, but it’s something he “wouldn’t trade for the world.”

“This is a statement of our values, that every life is important,” he said.

The GOP-controlled Senate passed House Bill 5 in March.

The legislation specifically says a doctor may not perform an abortion “if the physician determines the gestational age of the fetus is more than 15 weeks.”

It does not grant exemptions for rape, incest or human trafficking. Exceptions include if the abortion is necessary to save a mother’s life or to prevent serious injury to the mother.

Attendees at the Thursday event praised the governor, calling him “the most pro-life governor in the country.”

Supporters of the bill have said 15 weeks would be enough time to make the decision to receive an abortion.

“Being a parent even when you want your child is fundamentally a sacrifice. But it is a privilege. It is a gift that God has given us all. It is the highest gift that he can give us,” Rep. Randy Fine (R) said. “You’ve got two sets of rights that are fundamentally in conflict. You’ve got the right of a woman to do what she wants with her body. And you have the right of a baby to exist. And both of these rights cannot exist at the same time.”

Democrats have harshly disagreed.

“All abortion bans are extreme. They rob women and people of the freedom to make their own decisions,” Rep. Carlos G Smith (D) said.

Planned Parenthood officials said Floridians should have the freedom to make their own medical decisions.

“No person can truly call themselves free if they can’t make decisions about their own body,” said Stephanie Fraim.

Fraim is the President and CEO at Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida.

“This law is an attack on our freedom,” she said. “We should stand up and say you cannot control me, you cannot take my freedom away from me. We need this healthcare.”

The new law is not a closed deal for pro-choice advocates who argue it is unconstitutional. Fraim said Planned Parenthood is considering challenging the legislation in court.

This from a governor that cut off extra government paid unemployment for Covid early, has a ridiculous low state unemployment, has cut and tried to cut further food assistance for children including child school lunches.  This governor has also fought any attempts to protect children in schools from Covid, fought vaccines for children and families, and has slashed funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) at a time it was needed most.   And also in a weird way of showing how much they care about children this state pushed the don’t say gay bills that will leave LGBTQ+ kids target of bigots and being bullied by kids with bigoted parents.

REPORT: Dems Fret Over Feinstein’s Failing Memory

The San Francisco Chronicle reports:

When a California Democrat in Congress recently engaged in an extended conversation with Sen. Dianne Feinstein, 88, they prepared for a rigorous policy discussion like those they’d had with her many times over the last 15 years. Instead, the lawmaker said, they had to reintroduce themselves to Feinstein multiple times during an interaction that lasted several hours.

Four U.S. senators, including three Democrats, as well as three former Feinstein staffers and the California Democrat told The Chronicle in recent interviews that her memory is rapidly deteriorating. They said it appears she can no longer fulfill her job duties without her staff doing much of the work required to represent the nearly 40 million people of California.

‘Disgusting’: Children called slurs, security increased following political ad attacking Birmingham area school

https://www.cbs42.com/news/local/disgusting-children-called-slurs-security-increased-following-political-ad-attacking-birmingham-area-school/

The principal of Magic City Acceptance Academy is fighting back against what he calls a “disgusting” television advertisement by Tim James, a Republican candidate for Alabama governor.

Michael Wilson, the founding principal of Magic City Acceptance Academy, said he was shocked when he saw the ad, which uses images from a school fundraiser showing the faces of staff and students. The photos were likely lifted from the school’s social media site, he said.

“And now, right here in Alabama, millions of your tax dollars are paying for the first transgender public school in the South,” James said in the ad. “Enough of this foolishness.”

The initial advertisement, titled “Genesis,” shows images of the school and of a drag show fundraiser as James’ voice denounces the institution.

The public charter school, which labels itself as an LGBTQ-affirming learning environment, opened last year and serves students from all backgrounds. Transgender students make up less than 10% of the school’s student population, Wilson said, and the majority of pupils at MCAA are not members of the LGBTQ community.

“I just could not believe that someone would use a school and misrepresent it,” Wilson said.

After the advertisement was released, the school immediately increased security to protect its student population. The decision turned out to be a prudent one.

The first week the ad ran, Wilson said someone drove by the school and yelled slurs at students standing outside. In another incident, a woman attempted to approach and film students on the school’s campus before being stopped by staff.

The ad has had negative impacts on students, Wilson said. The school has partnered with the Magic City Wellness Center to provide counseling for those who need it.

He said he has also spoken directly to some of the individuals pictured in the advertisement.

“They’re angry,” Wilson said. “They’re angry, and they have a right to be. What he’s doing and what others are doing in the way they’re campaigning is pushing voters away instead of bringing them in. It’s absolutely disgusting the angry nature of nearly every candidate’s commercials.”

Wilson said he believes that ads like James’ fuel hatred in the community and could, in some case, inspire violence.

“Ads like that one and the one against our immigrant populations — all of those ads — they empower and embolden people who still have a lot of hate and bigotry in their hearts to take action sometimes,” he said.

A parent of one of the students pictured in James’ ad sent the campaign a cease-and-desist letter, Wilson said. The campaign edited the photo to exclude only the child in question, Wilson claimed, leaving others visible.

The James campaign said they did not receive a letter, only an e-mail from a parent. The campaign “obscured the student from the ad” in response but has continued to air it, Elizabeth Jordan, communications director for the campaign, said in a statement. If the parent were “truly concerned about her child,” the campaign said, “she would remove her from the Magic City Acceptance Academy period.”

In a statement released to media outlets regarding the original ad, Tim James’ campaign doubled down on its claims.

“The principal said that the TV ad scared the children,” the statement said. “What should scare mothers and fathers of these children is what the faculty is doing by presenting this ungodly display through the drag show to which the children were subjected.”

Wilson said no students were “subjected” to the drag show, but that it was their idea.

No matter the political climate, Wilson said that Magic City Acceptance Academy will stand by its mission.

“We’re an educational space for all students,” he said. “We’re built on pillars of trauma-informed care because most of our kids have faced marginalization of some kind — because they’re LGBTQ, because of color, because of the level of poverty… We’re the space where we hopefully break down barriers so that kids can continue to learn and continue to grow and eventually become the adults that they want to be.”

Alabama Students At LGBTQ-Friendly School Called Slurs After Ad By GOP Gov Candidate Shows Their Faces

Magic City is a pro-LGBTQ public charter school. Since the ad ran, someone drove by the school shouting slurs and a woman attempted to film students.

James’ campaign says if the students’ parents are upset about his ad, they should remove their children from the “ungodly” school. There’s much more at the link.

Last week Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a raft of anti-trans bills and a version of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law. James is obviously trying to outdo her.

Tennessee lawmaker references Hitler during statement supporting homeless bill’s passage

https://fox17.com/news/local/tennessee-lawmaker-references-hitler-during-statement-supporting-homeless-bills-passage-politics-usa-news

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–A Tennessee lawmaker who voted in favor of a bill to cut down on homeless camps spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday, referencing Adolph Hitler as an example of how there is still hope for the homeless.

On Wednesday, the Senate passed a bill making it a Class “C” Misdemeanor for soliciting or camping along highways and exit ramps. It also makes it illegal to camp on public and state property.

State Senator Frank S. Niceley (R-Strawberry Plains-D8) took to the floor on Wednesday to voice his support for the bill and to give fellow lawmakers a “history lesson.” Speaking on the floor, Sen. Niceley stated “I haven’t given y’all a history lesson in a while and I wanted to give a little history on homelessness.”

“In 1910 Hitler decided to live on the streets for a while,” Niceley said. “So for two years Hitler lived on the streets and practiced his oratory and his body language and how to connect with the masses. And then went on to lead a life that got him in the history books. So, a lot of these people its not a dead end. They can come out of these homeless camps and have a productive life, or in Hitler’s case a very unproductive life.”

Niceley appeared on JMG last week when he introduced a bill that would legalize over-the-counter sales of horse paste.

GOP state senator, seven other women say Charles Herbster groped them; he denies allegations

Charles Herbster
Charles Herbster(Charles Herbster)
Published: Apr. 14, 2022 at 9:58 AM EDT

Time after time, Charles Herbster worked the crowds as he attended events, either as a candidate for Nebraska governor, a significant Republican donor or a beauty pageant judge.

He would go up to a group and introduce himself. Often wearing his signature cowboy hat and suit, he would extend a handshake to the men. But when young women reached out for a handshake, as well, on at least several occasions he pulled them into an embrace instead.

Herbster, the CEO of Conklin Co. and now a frontrunner in the 2022 GOP primary race, sometimes went further, according to eight women who spoke with the Nebraska Examiner.

During an event in 2019, for example, Republican State Sen. Julie Slama confirmed that as she walked by Herbster, he reached up her skirt, without her consent, and touched her inappropriately. The incident happened in the middle of a crowded ballroom at the Douglas County Republican Party’s annual Elephant Remembers dinner.

At the time, Slama had been recently appointed to the District 1 legislative seat representing southeast Nebraska. Herbster owns a farm and a house in the district.

Another person attending the 2019 event saw Herbster reach up Slama’s skirt and had told the Examiner about it. That witness and two others said they saw Herbster grope another young woman on her buttocks at the same event.

When the Examiner asked Slama on Monday if the two incidents at the event had been described accurately, and whether Herbster had touched her under her skirt, Slama said: “Yes, confirmed,” but declined to discuss the incidents further.

Six women, including the woman Slama saw being groped at the Elephant Remembers dinner, told the Nebraska Examiner that Herbster touched them inappropriately when they were saying hello or goodbye to him, or when they were posing for a photograph by his side.

The women said Herbster groped them on their buttocks, outside of their clothes, during political events or beauty pageants. Each woman said she was grabbed, not inadvertently grazed, by Herbster.

A seventh woman said Herbster once cornered her privately and kissed her forcibly.

All the incidents occurred between 2017 and this year, according to those involved. The women ranged in age from their late teens to mid-20s at the time of the incidents.

Herbster’s campaign manager, Ellen Keast, in a statement issued Wednesday evening, said Herbster denied the women’s allegations “unequivocally.” Keast said that “this is a political hit-piece built on 100% false and baseless claims.” Keast blamed the “political establishment” for “smearing and trying to destroy him with lies.”

“Charles W. Herbster has a lifetime record of empowering women to lead,” Keast said in her statement. “His company, farm, and campaign are all run by women. Despite leading hundreds of employees, not once has his reputation been attacked in this disgusting manner.”

Keast, who said her family has known Herbster for nearly a decade, said she had never experienced anything like the women described. “Never,” she said. “He’s an honest, respectful man.”

Concerned about careers

All of the women except Slama spoke to the Examiner on the condition that their names be withheld. The Nebraska Examiner grants anonymity to those alleging sexual assault, unless they consent to be named.

Several of the women said they feared Herbster’s wealth and power. Three said they were concerned about their careers if they reported the behavior. Three worried about the reaction of their parents and churches.

Two of the women said they were still considering filing a police report.

Each of the women said she had shown an interest in GOP politics, conservative causes or beauty pageants when she met Herbster. All denied political motivations in talking about Herbster’s actions.

“Being a conservative Republican woman in politics, you just expect to be treated with respect. To be treated in that way in a public event, in front of everyone, just to prove, I believe, that he could get away with it, and not having recourse, it’s terrifying,” one woman said.

“I’m scared for any young women that he would be dealing with in the future. Don’t send your daughters to work for this guy,” she said.

The Nebraska Examiner corroborated six of the women’s accounts with at least one witness to each incident. The other two women told at least one person about the incident on the same day it occurred. Each witness and confidant confirmed the women’s description of what happened.

One witness said he saw Herbster grope a woman during a large conservative gathering and was appalled. The witness, a combat veteran, asked the woman if she wanted him to intervene. She asked him to restrain himself because she didn’t want to cause a scene.

A witness to a different incident showed the Examiner a photograph of a young woman posing with a group after meeting Herbster. Herbster’s arm is stretched behind the woman, just below her waist. Both the woman and the witness have confirmed that Herbster was grabbing the woman’s buttocks at the time.

A few of the women said Herbster placed himself in their exit path after events, making it difficult to leave without talking to him. One called it “creepy and controlling.”

Under state law, touching a person inappropriately without consent on the outside of their clothes constitutes third-degree sexual assault. If the person was injured, it’s second-degree sex assault. Any penetration constitutes first-degree sexual assault.

1 in 6 American women

National statistics indicate that 1 out of 6 American women have been sexually assaulted. Only 15% of sexual assaults occur in public places, according to the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network, or RAINN, citing federal crime data.

Power and the drive for power spur much of the sexual violence that takes place, said Christon MacTaggart, executive director of the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Many sexual assault survivors face prolonged trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, depression and isolation, whether or not they access services like counseling, MacTaggart said. But those who seek help and have support see better outcomes, she said.

Survivors endure economic impacts, too, she said, ranging from sick days and missed work to the loss of opportunities to advance in their careers, often because they’re dealing with trauma.

“From what I’ve seen, it’s not always so much about how severe the degree of sexual violence was,” MacTaggart said. “What I would say is, to all survivors, we see you and we believe you.

“It takes great courage to come forward with allegations of sexual violence all the time, but especially against someone who is in a position of power.”

Three of the women interviewed by the Examiner said they no longer follow politics because of what happened. Two said they have sought counseling. Two others said they just want to forget about what happened. One said she now carries a gun to protect herself.

Deb Portz, a campaign volunteer and donor who is part of the Herbster for Women group, often defends him when people attack him politically on the campaign’s Facebook page. When someone alleged on the page that Herbster had improperly touched a woman, she suggested the candidate was a “hugger” and that the commenter was misrepresenting what he saw.

Thibodeau saw no groping

Herbster’s former running mate, Theresa Thibodeau, who is now running against him in the GOP contest, expressed disgust at the allegations.

Thibodeau said she had not been aware of allegations about Herbster, nor had she seen him grope anybody. She helped the campaign for much of 2021.

“I would have come out publicly immediately,” said Thibodeau, a former state senator. “Because no woman should ever be made to feel that way or be too scared to come forward.”

She ended her involvement with his campaign in July, saying he was poorly prepared to be governor and would not put in the work she thought he needed.

She said she was troubled, however, by an episode after she left. Politico reported Sept. 29 that Herbster was with Corey Lewandowski during a Sept. 26 charity fundraiser in Las Vegas when an Idaho GOP donor’s wife alleged that Lewandowski made lewd, unwanted advances toward her. Herbster issued a statement later saying he had asked Lewandowski to “step back” from his role as a senior adviser to Herbster’s campaign.

Thibodeau told the Examiner she was troubled because Herbster continued to involve Lewandowski — who was a campaign manager for former President Donald Trump — in campaign decisions as a confidant and consultant. Several former Herbster campaign staffers confirmed Lewandowski’s continued involvement.

Another incident that made Thibodeau question Herbster’s treatment of women: She said Herbster told her to stay quiet during a Future Farmers of America meeting celebrating women in agriculture. She said she felt he often preferred women to be “seen and not heard.”

Misconduct is bipartisan

Political sexual misconduct is sadly bipartisan, said Allison Bitterman, a former campaign consultant for Democrats. She quit her role helping 2020 U.S. Senate candidate Chris Janicek, a Democrat, raise campaign funds after Janicek sent “sexually inappropriate” texts to her and other staffers.

Candidates, campaigns and major political parties could do more to protect victims of sexual harassment and assault by adopting policies that hold people accountable, she said.

State and local leaders could help, too, by extending Equal Employment Opportunity Commission protections to people working for businesses with fewer than 15 employees, she said.

“The reputation and character of these candidates behaving in this grotesque manner isn’t secretive,” Bitterman said. “The parties … continue to remain silent until this (bad behavior by candidates or staff) happens.”

Victims of sexual violence can contact the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence to access a statewide network of service providers online, or by phone at (402) 476-6256.

Why the fuck is no one with a platform from our side standing up and pointing out one reason you see the GOP going nuts over gay people and trans people and trying to convince you that they are the problem is because they themselves are the problem. They are projecting their sexual issues onto others and making you think its the gays or trans people that are the issue when every day we hear another report of a GOP male accused of groping women and usually much much younger women

Why isn’t anyone pointing out all of the child abuse going on in churches? Why is Josh Duggar awaiting his appeal as a free man? If these people gave two shits about children, they would have burned the churches down decades ago.

And if he had raped any of these women, his entire party would have supported him in forcing the woman to bear the child.

As the “great” Madison Cawthorn proudly stated in Congress: “women are earthen vessels.” I guess that’s how they treat earthen vessels in the GOP. I usually put flowers in earthen vessels, which is why I don’t confuse women with such inanimate objects.

The one we know about. There got to be plenty of underage girls he assaulted. Most sexual predators do not care about age of their victims. It’s the power to assault that gets them off.

They specifically aim for younger victims because they can groom them or threaten them and usually get their way.

I’m guessing, and maybe the women who post here can back me up, that very few times when walking by a man, that having that man’s hand go up your skirt is it consensual.
