Ukraine investigates deportation of children to Russia as possible genocide
Prosecutors investigating war crimes cases in Ukraine are examining allegations of the forcible deportation of children to Russia since the invasion as they seek to build a genocide indictment, the country\u2019s top prosecutor said in an interview.

“Video recordings of Republican Party operatives meeting with grassroots activists provide an inside look at a multi-pronged strategy to target and potentially overturn votes in Democratic precincts: Install trained recruits as regular poll workers and put them in direct contact with party attorneys.
The plan, as outlined by a Republican National Committee staffer in Michigan, includes utilizing rules designed to provide political balance among poll workers to install party-trained volunteers prepared to challenge voters at Democratic-majority polling places, developing a website to connect those workers to local lawyers and establishing a network of party-friendly district attorneys who could intervene to block vote counts at certain precincts.
“Being a poll worker, you just have so many more rights and things you can do to stop something than [as] a poll challenger,” said Matthew Seifried, the RNC’s election integrity director for Michigan, stressing the importance of obtaining official designations as poll workers in a meeting with GOP activists in Wayne County last Nov. 6. It is one of a series of recordings of GOP meetings between summer of 2021 and May of this year obtained by POLITICO.
Backing up those front-line workers, “it’s going to be an army,” Seifried promised at an Oct. 5 training session. “We’re going to have more lawyers than we’ve ever recruited, because let’s be honest, that’s where it’s going to be fought, right?””
This is something that more people need to be aware of, as far too many people are too busy right now to understand how badly their right to vote is being eroded and flat out stolen away. The second part of this is to make votes not in Republicans favor simply no longer count, to make them invalid. Republicans have endorsed the idea that they alone have the right to be in elected office, they have the right to rule. No Democrat win in an election is valid as Democrats do not have the right to hold office. This is the Republicans openly saying they reject democracy and the voice of the people in favor of a one party rule such as China has. Instead of the Republicans listening to the will of the people the Republicans in office will force the people to do / live as the office holder demands they do. Hugs

What Texas Pual missed is that it is not true that the cities with the most gun violence are democratic party run. Most are Republican run cities in Republican run states. I have posted this before, that is a talking point started by a Fox opinion host that is a lie. Flat out proven lie. I won’t bother to list them here but Google it, damn it people stop taking what these Republicans are saying as truth because they lie with no problems, and then they blame everyone else for lacking morals. Oh my sweet cats. This video is from 1958 and they had the idea of things we are being sold as great new tech for today. This video starts slow but get past that to see the use of small gas motors to power electric drives, modern cruise controls sensors, key fobs instead of keys and so much more. Ten Bears is correct, we are not looking to the future as they did, instead we are using what they thought the future could be. Why are we no longer doing that? Why are our people not looking to what could be in 20 or 40 years? Has greed become so powerful that only that which makes money now worth pursuing? Are we at the pinnacle of our human experiment? Yes the CC works well on this one. Maybe because the reporters seem British. But it makes it even more clear the tragedy of what the Ukrainian people are suffering. Yes the world is helping, but not fast enough, not doing what would really help. Every civilian who dies, every massacre, every shelter destroyed is on the hands of those countries that have the ability to stop it and yet are putting politics before lives. Have we as a people become so use to the death of people just trying to live their lives that we accept this? Hugs
