Hi Scottie;
I’ve always been a bit amazed about how people deal with the extremely disastrous and horrible things that come into their lives. For example; for many years, the Native population and the Black population have had atrocity upon atrocity handed to them, and rarely have I heard of a parent going in to exact revenge. I would not be so strong, so civilized as to deal calmly with such a thing. So, as I read on this and see that not one of those officers has been accosted, I’m applauding the restraint of the parents and families. As I said, I would not be so strong.
Scottie, I can’t help but to wonder, as I noted the Native and Black populations struggles; these were Hispanic children. Does someone think they don’t matter? Or, as you have noted, is this just part of the cost of our vaunted gun rights?
Hugs;

Hello Randy. Great points. In this case the outrage of the parents has been the only thing driving the investigations. The police department and the police chief in particular fought any attempt to investigate or look into the police response. The police must never be questioned, you understand. But yes if this had been a wealthy / well off white neighborhood school you know damn well the police would have been faster and more active in saving the kids. Hugs
