Above and beyond some of the things that Brian mentioned, wouldn’t this mean JOBS for U.S. workers???

Hello Nan. While I regret that the bill did not have guarantee of protections that the companies wouldn’t just take the money and run, that the treasury did not get anything back for all that money put out. Many said that it was a pure money giveaway to these companies, and they are right. That said it is needed that the US build our own chips, get the supplies stocked piled here in country, and with the new bill announced more things like batteries along with other parts needed for the modern age will be made here. So yes you are correct it will add a lot more jobs, and hopefully the companies will realize how much the government gave them and pay the workers a good living wage. But more likely they will pay the least they can and pocket the profits. Hugs
