    1. Hello Nan. The conflict between people who want to be ethical in their treatment of animals and the people who want more profit. I don’t much about pig farming, but I have seen veal cages. One of the biggest farmers I worked for as a kid refused to use them. It cost him money but he was loaded anyway and said the cages were cruel even though the calves were going to be killed and eaten. He simply refused to house them on his farm that way. It comes down to what is important to people, more money or how we treat the lessor animals in the world. Hugs
