  1. I know we should probably just not go to movies. Likely I’ll wait to see this until I can watch it at home, anyway. But, a little while ago, there were some comments here about the Barbie movie. I thought I wanted to jump in, because I’d seen the trailer and it looked to me to be more substantive than the commentary was giving credit for, but at the time I didn’t I think because it was late; also, it might have been Jill’s blog, since I read you both and sometimes your blogs interact! 😄 Meanwhile, the movie opening is closer now, I’ve read quite a bit about it, and I remain the Barbie fan I’ve been since I was 5, for most of the same reasons. I do want to see the movie sooner rather than later. Below is the link to a story about the movie, by a credible writer I read regularly. At people’s leisure, enjoy the piece. And support your local unions, writers, and actors any way you can!

PS: Another link. The Ground news blurb reminded me I read this poetry this AM, and it’s stunning and great.

    1. Hello Ali. I don’t do movie theaters. Haven’t since buying / renting movies became a thing. We have Amazon Prime and other streaming services now. I mostly watch YouTube and we have the premium. But once and while I stream a move. Right now I am avoiding buying new movies, if I want a break I will watch something I already own. But everyone has to what is good for them. Hugs
