And down goes their tax base. It’ll hit ’em sometime that losing humans to more humane states is gonna cost. Especially with the Republican Republicans running the state. (I intended the phrase; FL’s Republicans, as many Republicans, are especially Republican.)

Hello Ali. I understand those that have children leaving, also those adults who are trans. Right now the laws are openly trying to stop them from receiving the medical care they require. If you take all of DeathSantis and the republican actions / polices together the economic situation in Florida is getting worse every day, along with so many other quality of living issues. Hugs

Exactly. It could appear that the state is actually “cleansing” itself of those it considers undesirable (it does appear that way to me; bet I’m not the only one.) The state is looking at unintended consequences, though; loss of citizenry correlates with loss of revenues. Those who think their quality of life will improve without “others” will soon find out very differently, since those who run the state aren’t about to help anybody with anything.
Yeah, that’s the ticket. I shoulda said that to start out!

You are correct Ali. What you wrote is very true. So many lower income jobs that were filled by people who feel threaten due to their immigration status or a family member’s status are fleeing the state in numbers so large it boggles the mind. The schools at all levels from kindergartners to higher education places can not get qualified teachers / professors / staff. Businesses are not moving here because they can not attract qualified staff at the higher levels who want to move here. Even the military is worried about state laws and anyone who is here can get a transfer because they have a dependent or they themselves are the target of these anti-LGBTQ+ laws. Hugs

1 John 4:20
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Hello Roger. Seems too often these people only love to hate. They see their faith, their religion as a club to used against those they dislike or disagree with. It is like they feel superior to everyone else, not humble and not part of the very humanity that I was told that deity loved. It is not a personal guide to how they should live, but it is to be forced on those who don’t want it. Their joy in Christianity seems to be the restrictions they can put on others. Hugs

Agreed Scottie. Lord Jesus had quite a few words to say to folk who tried that one on.
They appear to be very selective in their Bible readings and translations.
Not a unique trait. Take any belief system be it religious, political or social and there will be folk who take it to the intolerant level.
Take care you guys
