Ugh. They can’t do it legally, so now they’re just gonna do it however they can if they get half a chance. The rest of us-we outnumber them-simply have to show up as much as possible to get good people elected.
Off topic, but of interest, at least to Scottie, about the Marion newspaper raid: newest stuff is, the Marion police were still in possession of copies of stuff they took off the paper’s property, and now are under pain of contempt to prove they’ve destroyed everything. And, today, one of the Marion reporters has filed suit against the police! I love her. She used to write for the Wichita Eagle, and I’d run into her (not literally) when I was active with the Dem party and she’d be reporting. She’s a good person, and knows her stuff. Hello Ali. Thank you for the update and link. I will make a post on it. I also hope the federal government / DOJ will step and investigate because trying to win against small town authority figures is seriously difficult even when they clearly do something wrong. Hugs
