Liberal Redneck – Why Does Texas Hate This One Pregnant Woman So Much?

  1. The Liberal Redneck says it all
The DA in Texas, the Supreme Court in Texas will have blood on their hands if this tragedy reaches its worst conclusions.
These folk do not care a damn about Life.
They will be judged, one way or another, they will not escape Justice.
(PS Sorry for the delay in replying to your posts Scottie, being ‘everywhere’ in my head of late)

    1. Hi Roger. Never fear delays, I am always a few days behind these days also. As to the Texas DA and the anti-abortion laws. He will still go after her and any who assisted her. One of the laws allows anyone to sue the doctor, anyone who helps her, and the facility. It is an automatic minimum 10,000 plus any other amount the judge decides. Plus those getting sue have to pay all the costs and fees, including lawyers fees of the losing party’s lawyers of those who sues even if they win. So it is a lose / lose no matter what for those helping or doing abortions. Plus the state can still do criminal charges. It is best if she and her family leave the state forever. Hugs. Scottie

      1. I am assuming this creature who is the Texas DA fancies himself as a Christian.
He would do well to reflect upon the following:

From The Gospel according to Matthew Chapter 25 v 31-46:

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

      2. PS Scottie, (WP sent before I had finished😩!)

It is probably not the best Christian thought to have (I am supposed to pray for everyone to change their bad ways)…. But sometimes I just think to myself about these fundamentalists:
‘On judgement day. You guys got it coming…Big style!’

Also the verses are kinda tough on goats

        1. Hello Roger. Sadly, people like the AG think their goals, their feelings of right and wrong, are far more important than the words written in their holy book … unless they want to use those words to attack and harm others. It is why I struggle to call them Christian. I am an atheist so I don’t get to say who is a Christian or not, but Roger … This, to me, doesn’t look like an attempt to save the prospective baby … because the baby is going to die either before birth or shortly after. That is a medical fact. Plus it could cause a couple who really want more children to not be able to do so. No, to me this look like an out right attempt to control women / trans men and their reproductive area. To me it is the AG saying “You had sex, you had a man put his male organ in you so you deserve to be forced to birth his issue”. As barbaric as it sounds, that is his “Christian” view.

Roger, from your tone of your comment you feel the way about him I do. I also hope you understand when I complain about people like him who in my view abuse the name Christian. I am not attacking “real Christians” who follow the ideals of their lord Jesus, and use their faith as a personal guide instead of as a cudgel to attack others with as his ilk do, then stand on their broken bodies in celebration. What I am against is not a personal faith in a deity, it is the use of that deity to harm others. Hugs. Scottie

          1. I agree with you wholeheartedly Scottie.
This excuse that it is the woman’s fault, is old, old and a sign of the true qualities of a man.
It’s even in the Book of Genesis, where Adam (to our household’s mind) whines to God that it ‘was the woman’ who gave him the apple.
Old Celtic and Anglo Saxon literature is littered with knights complaining they were seduced by a woman’s magic means (What a bunch of blame-shifters!).

You can attack these US versions of the Taliban and ISIS as much as you like Scottie and I will support you.
They twist the message of Jesus to suit their own mean-spirited ends.
            Opportunists, Heretics and Blasphemers.
You are exactly right, The Use to Harm Others. Religion or Politics are heavy with that sort of abuse and hypocrisy.
            Sometimes I get so fired up and angry with the selective reasoning used by all sides to suit their limited thinking I end up muttering;
‘Well at least the military approach has a sort of dire brutal honesty about it,’

            Take care you guys.
Covid might be under control, but Terminal Stupidity is rampant
