So I am excited, let me explain. Even before Covid, I had started not wanting to be “out in the world”. But after Covid hit, we stopped going out at all. But Randy came to visit from far away and we all went out to eat. I had a good time, but it was outside on the water and I got cold. So Randy and his folks are coming up and we are going back again. I love it. Ron went into his closet and found a heavy coat / jacket for me. It is only 67 outside. To me, that is call out the national guard weather. So I am excited to see Randy and his folks again. Last time we ate there, I got just the quesadillas and I could only eat two of them. I gave the other two to Randy. I really want to try the chili, so I am not sure what I will order. So at some time I will stop responding / blogging and you will know we went out to eat. Hugs. Scottie

Hi Ali. It was a grand meal out. We had a wonderful time with Randy and his folks. We again ate on the water and it was rather cold to me, but like I said I had a heavy jacket, the kind we had when we lived up north. I got the same quesadilla I had last time, and I ate most of two of the slices, gave Randy the other two, and his dad the curly fries. I don’t eat much normally, except when I first get my steroid shots. Do you go out to eat much? Hugs. Scottie

We used to go out 2-3x a month before Covid, but of course stopped. We really didn’t pick it back up, though this past year we’re gone out to eat a bit more again. There are a few really good Mexican places in a larger town a bit North of us but not quite in Wichita. There are any number of places in Wichita, but big city driving is more than we care to bother with anymore, especially when we can get to good places without breaching the “metro” boundaries! hahaha I’m glad you had a grand time, Scottie!

I just got home last night. Long. Drive. It was beautiful through the mountains!
We had an absolutely great time! Mom and Dad had never been to that restaurant, and while I wish it had been warmer I couldn’t be happier with the meal and company.
