Hello Nan. In normal times I doubt tRump would have succeeded in politics. But something happened in the country that caused a large minority of people to lose track of reality and willing join a cult of personality. Their emotions have become far more important to them than the actual reality around them. I have always said what his supporters see in tRump is that they want to get away with what he does without consequences. He says the most bigoted untrue shit and for the longest time no one could correct him, and he got away with it. He could flout the normal actions in public and got away with it. He could bully people, and they had to take it. For a long time he acted like he was above the laws and was getting away with it, and right now he almost is still getting away with it. That is who his supporters want to be. They want that “freedom” to treat others like shit, say what they want where ever they want, they want to act out and do shit at work with no chance of getting fired, they want to rule conversations without anyone being able to correct them. They used to sit and fume with racism and hold in what they wanted to yell. tRump taught them they don’t have to hold back, if anyone tried to correct them they attack, force others to back off and give in. They want to demand their way and get it.
In other words, they are toddlers or young kids not yet able to grasp why they can not have what they want or do what they want, so they throw temper tantrums. Hugs. Scottie

Hi Nan. These people always assume they will be the ones in charge. That in the dictatorship they will be the ones getting what they want. They never think what if the dictator was a democrat or a Muslim … any other group but theirs. Plus, these people always act like they are 80% of everyone. They talk about their country, taking back their country. Maga is loud and vocal and even driven but they are not the entire Republican Party. At one point they were only 30% of the republicans, which also are a minority in the US. Same with the mom’s of liberty and libs of TikTok, they are acting like they have huge mandates and support of the people. But they don’t, they are a minority. That is being seen in how they are losing new elections. They got in when people were not looking / caring, and once they tried to ban everything. The people said stop. They did not so the communities are raising up against them. But in many places it is too late, just as it is too late to stop trumpism. Hugs. Scottie
