I’m embarrassed, no make that ashamed that my government is sitting on their hands over this. They have the capability, although I limited availability of resources to make some difference. It just needs one or two state players to make a move then many more will follow.
It’s not the only urgent humanitarian need in the region – Yemen is another. But doing nothing is morally corrupt.
