Evangelical: “Gay Nationalists Are The Real Threat”

I do not understand why people like this guy claims that they speak for real Americans, That everyone but them is destroying their country, that they are losing their country, that everyone knows … when it is not true, or my favorite they use, they push the idea that they are the majority when they are not.   That is a tactic maga uses, the maga person claims to be representing the country or the people when in fact they are a minority.   Lib’s of TikTok use it, as does Mom’s for Liberty.  These kinds of people act like they and the ones like them are the only ones in the country that matter or count, that no one else has rights or the right to think differently.  That is because these people are a minority that want to rule others.  Also why are these people so terrified of sex and body parts?  They spend more time thinking about different people having sex than porn watchers.  I want to tell these people to just get laid, have sex and enjoy it, or don’t if you don’t want to.  Just stop trying to force others to live as you do.    Hugs.   Scottie

Pastor Alex McFarland writes for the Moonie Times:

Remember the San Fransisco Gay Men’s Choir and their 2021 video singing, “We’re coming for your children?” Remember that? At the time, as many conservatives and “traditional morality” voices expressed concern, with equal conviction many voices essentially retorted, “Chill out! Can’t you people take a joke?”

But for the “Gay Nationalists” working to groom America’s youth for a thoroughly woke, hyper-sexualized tomorrow, all of this is no joke. Gay, trans and critical race theory activists take their work of deconstructing America with religious fervor. Because deviancy and license are their religion.

With contempt for God and His followers, traditional Americans are slammed as “Christian nationalists.” But let’s call the woke zealots what they are: Gay Nationalists. Live gay, live straight, live chaste, live promiscuously – each of us will answer to Almighty God for how we responded to the truth we really did know. But the abandonment of known moral truth to placate the sexual deviants who are after our children; this is paving the way for the loss of America.

Read the full article. McFarland hosts a daily show on the American Family Association’s nearly 200 radio stations.

He last appeared here in January 2024 when he declared that “all human rights progress for the last 2000 years has been due to Jesus.”

McFarland first appeared here in 2015 when he blamed a mass shooting in California on God’s anger over the nationwide legalization of same-sex marriage.

“Remember all the shit we’ve made up about gay people?”

The obsession with other people’s sex lives is bizarre. Go feed the homeless. Do something useful for a change.

  1. I would never trust anyone who would blame a mass shooting on God’s Anger, that indicates a certain satisfaction on the behalf of the one who makes the claim.
And if it was the San Bernardino shooting since that was carried out by extremists who claimed affiliation with Islam.
Does that mean McFarland is a closet Islamic fundamentalist?

    1. Hi Roger. I often notice that these hate preachers seem to feel that god has terrible aim. They claim something horrible happened because god was angry at ????, yet the people hurt by that claimed god’s anger is never group ????.

They claim school shootings are because of gays … but not all the kids killed nor the killers are gay. They claim floods and hurricanes are god’s anger at abortion or again LGBTQ+ people. Yet the people hurt are not people who had abortions, not the abortion providers, and not the majority LGBTQ+. Why do they think god is so inaccurate and inefficient? What happened to the days when god was angry at kids he sent a bear to kill them, or Zeus knew how to throw a lightening bolt?

Just my thoughts on all this stuff about god’s anger. I couldn’t ever agree with a god so angry at my abuse in childhood that rather than stop it or lash out at the people doing it, he directs the harming of other kids.

Just my thoughts. If there is as my husband believes a supernatural energy force for good and positive it would be more a good deity, the deity it seems you believe in, or Ali’s, and the god that Rev. Ed Trevors talks about and follows. While I wouldn’t worship such a deity, I would respect it more than I do the deity of the Old Testament that ordered death of kids for minor offenses such as mocking a man’s bald head and ordering little girls parents / people slaughtered and then the little girls kept as sex slaves / objects. The god of the OT I despise.

Anyway. Best wishes, loves, and hugs. Scottie

      1. Many a Christian strong in their beliefs but moderate in their interpretations will tend to go to the New Testament for quotations and be queasy about the imagery in the Old Testament. Whereas the fundamentalist wings seem to gleefully resort to it and skirt around Christ’s teachings.

I could go on at some length about the historical and social context of the times and the error of placing emphasis on an English translation of 2,500 – 3,000 year old documents which have been translated several times before. And the also the question of the use of poetical imagery, along with the ‘political’ implication, or the social codes inherent to avoid feuds over property, inheritances etc.
There is a great deal of work on interpretation of ‘what was actually meant’ and counter arguments.
        (Pause for breath)

That said, whereas much is given over in the Old Testament to prophets warning a kingdom basically ‘You’re screwing up. Cheating each other, more concerned with money and chasing someone else’s wife/husband. Only pretending to worship’. The prophet getting hounded and then the kingdom having a bad time, if not complete defeat. Which is all a moral tale, there are parts where the average Christian will think ‘OK I get that this tribe defeated another one and put the survivors into slavery. That’s Human History. But celebrated in a Holy Book…..That can’t be right???’
And that’s why Scottie we get so many types of Christianity.
There are some who take a stance that the OT is now redundant because Jesus came and wiped the slate clean as it were. Which is a whole can of worms in itself and if taken to extremes can lead to another excuse for Antisemitism.

I guess at the end of the day a Christian who has not fallen and lost their true faith by embracing hate theology and who cannot shake themselves out of the contradictions has to go back to the OT and do a lot of studying on the topic.
Afterall it is a collection of documents written down by Humans using their own interpretations…Literal interpretation…What could [possibly go wrong with that?
I really should find more time to look into the subject.

        Oh well,

All the best to you and Ron.

        1. Hello Roger and Sheila.  I thank you for your very thoughtful responses.

Roger I have to tell you I paused in getting to your reply to eat, and during that time so many more things came in I lost yours.  Luckly I had opened the page you commented on so I have it saved.

Roger I love you in a very platonic brotherly way.  I had just read a very mean hateful fire and brimstone post about how people like me were doing all the evil in the world and his god demanded we be put to death yet the democrats wouldn’t allow it.  The hate preacher went on to talk about how even stoning with rocks crushing our skulls was not enough to erase our evil.  There was more.

So when I got to your comment I was very charged up with anger and vitriol in self-defense of myself and people like me. I was going to go on an angry rant.

Yet your comment took the anger and bad feelings out of my mood.  I took a step back and realized while in my world / universe this hate may exist it is not everywhere and definitely not held by all religious people in the world.

And I realized by your comment that real followers of Christ, who I understand is your religion is named for feel that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for mankind wiped out all the old laws, all the old requirements for atonement.  Christ made that atonement for anyone that his religion felt had sinned.  While I don’t feel I have sinned and I am not a follower, as I understood what I was taught so long ago … I am covered by that sacrifice.  All I had to do was live a good life treating others as I wish to be treated, to live by the golden rule.  In truth I have to repeat here what I wrote to Barry.

“When I had to join a church to get out of my abusive home, the pastor took me aside and warned me to not listen to the gossips and people in the church that wanted to compare one person or group to what they felt a Christian should be. He flat out told me my journey with god would be my own to walk and while people might help, they couldn’t demand I do things I felt god did not want of me. I was 17 years old and I already understood what he was saying, which some of the older ladies in the church did not. Looking back maybe he already figured I might be gay”.

Roger maybe there are so many types of Christianity is as you say, far too many refuse to accept that they also fall short of the higher bar of requirements of truly being a follower of Christ, so they have to deny Christ himself and create on of their own that approves of their hate, anger, bigotry, deceit, the things they feel they dare not admit so must lash out at others for openly having.  If they can not accept themselves and accept that their god already forgave them of those feeling / needs … how can they forgive other for it also.

Sorry Roger, I should delete this.  It was my thoughts.  Harking back to the few short years I spent in the SDA church.  I would have loved to stay.  But at the time the majority of them couldn’t accept me for being me.

Again thanks for talking me out of the hate, anger, and being as nasty as they are.  I never want to be that way.  Best wishes for you and Sheila.  Hugs.  Scottie

          1. Thank you so much for your heart warming comment Scottie. This bond of friendship and camaraderie means a great deal to me. I am proud to count you amongst ‘my closest’.

I am also glad you had a place to sound off and vent. Feel free to do so anytime. I totally understand. I am one with a very short fuse and low tolerance threshold when it comes to hate-mongering, prejudice. intolerance and associated evils. I am very intolerant of intolerance. Sounding off in the face of such evils is quite understandable. Vent any time you want!

None of these have any business being in any place of worship to God in whatever way a person chooses. It is a great hypocrisy which verges on a blasphemous rejection of the true teachings.
For Pity’s sake we should all get on together. There are enough examples in our histories as to where this leads.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

  2. Gay Nationalists. Seriously. Sheesh.

If they weren’t endangering people, it’d be to laugh. Gay Nationalists. Although… 😏

    1. Oh Ali. I love the idea. Imagine that is their worst nightmare. Militant gays rampaging all over, holding demonstrations, stopping events, and forcing Christian events to be cancelled as the gays demand that the events be turned into same sex wedding or drag queen events. Just like the fundamentalist Christian enforcers the Proud Boys and other thugs are doing to any LGBTQ+ events. Imagine armed pink sparkled wearing tutu wearing gays demanding school boards change all books to reflect the joy of being gay, and enforcing the idea of a religious free nation.

See they never look at it the other way. To them even though they are the minority they constantly claim as I wrote that this is their nation, they have to take back their country, that everyone knows that these books are harmful or evil for kids. They act like they are a super majority of people and the rest of us are only like 5 or less percent of the public.

Great idea, let’s work shop it through the network, get some groups working on making this happen. I love it. See you at the next meeting. Hugs. Scottie
