It’s Time for More Human/Animal Bonding

Thank you, Annie, for posting this.   Anyone who think other animals don’t have feelings, needs, and intelligence have never watched or been with animals.  Each to their species and their way, but I watched a video recently where they showed bees can count and recognize shapes including solving complex tasks required to get the food.   Hugs.  Scottie

  1. More good news-news I promised I’d bring here as soon as I found out. It was linked in my Women 4 KS newsletter, from HRC:

    https://www.hrc.org/press-releases/kansas-legislature-sustains-governor-laura-kellys-veto-of-bill-stripping-away-access-to-essential-health-care-for-transgender-youth

Snippet: ”Topeka, KS – Today, in a victory for transgender youth, the Kansas House voted to sustain Governor Laura Kelly’s veto of SB 233, which would have banned critical, medically necessary health care for transgender youth. The vote came hours after the Senate advanced an effort to override the veto. Today’s vote follows pleas from 200 medical and mental health professionals throughout Kansas warning of the dire consequences that would be imposed should the legislation have taken effect, along with Governor Kelly’s veto statement declaring that ‘if the legislature paid this much attention to the other 99.8% of students, we’d have the best schools on earth,’”

    1. Hello Ali. Thanks for the update. I saw that and was so happy to see a few republicans joined the democrats to help preserve medical treatment for kids / people that need it. Information, compassion, and medical science won over misinformation and bigotry. Hugs. Scottie

    1. Hi Barry. I understand that in a way. I also have been very close to animals, and I guess it comes from finding comfort with animals when I was an abused child. I wish I had gone into the Veterinarian Medical field. Sorry you get migraines, I hear they are incredibly painful and crippling.

I am not sure if I replied to your email about the video. If not let me thank you very much for watching it and helping me understand the large mistakes in it. I took your advice as you can see and did not post the video. You did give me some suggestion and I saved them to post. But right now I am seriously backed up on things to do. I am two days behind on comments and have emails and other things I have put off too long that I must get to first. But I do plan to do them. Best wishes. Scottie
