Once the momentum starts, the dread logic of War takes over, one which alarms and confounds folk not involved, but is there, a fearful, terrible thing.

Hi Roger. the dread logic of War is a horrible thing. It allows and excuses the most vile of atrocities, as we are seeing.
Forgive me friend but I am in a bad state right now. I have watched too many videos of man’s inhumanity to man. I watched the video from Rawgod’s site. I watched and showed Ron the video of young Israelis stopping aid trucks, destroying them, destroying all the desperately needed food. Why. They already got their revenge cost in blood, the revenge of death for death. Regardless of what they had been doing to the Palestinians before, about 1,100 Israelis died and all the stuff about beheaded babies was shown to be lies, but the revenge has given them easily over 40,000 dead Palestinian civilians and at least 14,000 children dead. How much more blood do they need. They were denying starving civilians, women and children, food to keep from starving.
Think of the reverse and how badly these same young people would be screaming of the evil and inhumanity towards Jewish people. It seems clear they have been taught all their lives that Palestinians are not humans, not real people, not someone with rights. They view the Palestinians the same way that white kids in the US racist south in the days of slavery seen black folk. It has become ingrained in them. That is on their parents and the government that has done this Apartheid for decades. I have to admit I have lost all respect for Israel.
Never Again must be for everyone or it means nothing.

You may rage and scream in frustration as much as you wish to Scottie. It is your right when faced with Humanity’s Mindless Inhumanity. I have done the same very often and with less provocation.
Of course this in indefensible, nothing more than a lashing out in blind fury, for all the world to see, and puts their own communities under more threat and more Israeli lives will be taken, maybe not now, but down the years.
Before I started writing this paragraph I sat forehead pressed against my left hand, wondering just what I was going to write next.
How many times has this happened, and how many more times is it going to happen?
I could list the previous ones, but I want to leave this one open and stark, lest the listing someone how seems to justify what that mob did.
No I will not list them.
I will offer you this though Scottie.
There are several Israels in there. And they will tear the nation apart. It’s happened before, biblically and historically and the people paid.
Not the first, not the last time. Anywhere. Any time. Any people.
As I write this Sheila is looking at some new photos of our great-granddaughter, I smile and share the joy.
Then worry about just what that little child will face in her adult years.
