This is a great short less than 4 minute video of the fearmongering of social security. The republicans keep claiming it will run out of money in the future years we must cut benefits. The fund will be insolvent. Out of money. Guess what that means. Congress will have to vote to fund it. Look did you know the US government was unfunded in 2025? Yes totally insolvent. Unless congress votes to fund it. Oh like they are doing right now in 2024. YES. Did you know the military is totally unfunded in 2025? They will not have enough money to keep running. What to do. Oh yes, pass bills funding the military and their programs. There is no reason for the total fear campaign the republicans have cooked up to try to kill social security and disability funding. There is an incredible push to paint the pro-Palestinian protestors as anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish. It is a desperate attempt to justify what the Israeli government is doing. And media is allowing themselves to be used. The protestors include Jewish students, and even one of the chief of police of one police department that was removing protestors at one college said the students were cooperative and peaceful, offering no resistance or violence. The violence at the arrests are being done by the police and in one case the violence was started when the pro-Israeli groups showed up and attacked the protestors. The campus security was overwhelmed and retreated and it took police far too long, hours before they showed up to protect the protestors and restore order. The police wanted the violence and mayhem, they wanted the pro-Palestinian protestors injured. History has shown other times this was done, protestors against the Vietnam War were treated this way, and Kent State was where college kids were gunned down by National Guard troops something the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson just called for now, the Iraq war started by the US protestors were treated this way. The students have the right to protest, republicans don’t like that and have been pressuring the universities / colleges to stop / end the protests, or they will cut funding or some other punitive measure. I don’t know if you will want to watch all of them, or do it the way I did and watch some over a few days while doing other things. Hugs. Scottie
When asked to wear masks to help the country deal with a worldwide pandemic, the maga hate groups claimed they wouldn’t do it because they can’t breathe wearing masks. The went to school board meets and ranted and screamed at the board about it. Yet now those same Proud Boys, Three Percenter’s, Oath Keepers, and the Nazi protesters marching in the streets who call themselves Patriot Front all wear face masks to avoid being identified and lose their jobs. If they think they represent so much of the country as they claim, why not be open about what complete morons and jerks they are. This is another reason DeathSantis and racist governors in some red states are outlawing any Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality programs so white people can be open racist bigots to fellow workers without getting reprimanded or facing consequences for their actions. Republicans are convinced there is massive voter fraud. Yes there is a small amount, they are correct. But that is because they are the ones doing it. A black woman in Texas got five years for voting as a person on parole after being told she could vote by poll workers and her parole officer never told her she couldn’t vote. Plus her vote was a provisional one that was not counted, his were counted. An appeals court overturned her sentence but of course asshole AG Paxton himself a criminal, bigot, and racist has appealed that to have her sentence reinstated. DeathSantis in Florida sent police to arrest black former felons on charges of voter fraud that were later all dismissed after the election. It is all about republican racists suppressing the black vote. Republicans have no platform, they have no interest in helping the country, no interest in serving the public. They are interested in helping their bank accounts and serving their business big money donors so to do those things they need to be rulers not representatives. Hugs. Scottie
