I am humbled before this man’s words of gentle yet powerful words of truth and wisdom.
Amen.

Hi Roger. I am also, and I don’t share his religious belief. But he is so compassionate, so kind, so reasoned, so willing to put his own sense of self importance aside. He doesn’t start with the idea everyone else is wrong, he seems to look at things separate from himself and just ask if it seems correct or not. I love how he worships Christ, not the bible. He admits when he doesn’t know something, which I admit I struggle with. I just really like him and his view on the world and religion. Hugs. Scottie

Oh to have his approach Scottie, instead of my own raw-boned backwoods preacher speaking of apocalypse.
It is only correct that a Christian feels themselves challenged and bothered with what appear to be contradictions, this draws them into examining their faith and pondering on the messages within the testaments.
If a Christian takes a balanced approach it is understand that Christ came to complete the Old Testament’s work and bring the truth of The Faith.
There’s a great deal written seemingly based on the Bible and written therein which troubles me and constantly have to keep working through.
And then if having an interest in Cosmology there’s the issue of possibly 200 billion trillion stars in the Universe, aside from trying to get your head around the number, there is the nagging question ….’How does one being supervise all that?’ A Jesuit priest who works at the Vatican Astronomical Observatory admitted that when trying to match Faith with Fact that ‘every night he looks at the sky, he is challenged’ .
