Hi Ali. Damn, This week with George Stephanopoulos only had Democrats and republicans on that wanted Biden to step aside, but no one to back up the president and want him to stay. The round table has only one person supporting Biden the others are hand wringing and go on about how bad Biden is how frail and mentally slow. The media and George Stephanopoulos keep hammering on it so people are starting to believe it. I hate the division in the Dem Party. Hugs. Scottie

There is not division. Amongst we the regular people who are Dems, we are united behind the Biden-Harris ticket. I’ll go find that Substack I read earlier. A woman who’s activist in MO is writing it, while she’s doing things I used to do when I was young with a child at home. She’s great!

OK. If you seriously want me to, I’ll do it (I already read your response to my soapbox comment, so I get what you’re saying.) I see what you mean; things like this wouldn’t be buried in comments.
Some days, I find 3 or more things I would share here, if that’s appropriate. And some other days, I can write commentary. Not all the time, but sometimes. I guess if you feel something’s inappropriate, you can delete it. If there are ground rules beyond those you have here on the page, just let me know.

I’m sure sorry Ron’s ill again, just in time to travel again. I’m glad the arrangements for the service worked out, thought. All my condolences to all of you there, and well wishes to Ron. Zinc, elderberry, vitamin C… maybe if he wants; mostly just well wishes. Zinc, elderberry, and vitamin C are a mantra to the universe from me for friends who are ill.

Hi Ali. Ron went to bed early last night. I stayed up very late for me. I then went to bed and got four hours sleep when I woke to Ron in the bathroom taking a shower. He got up at 3 and I woke up at 3:30. I helped him get everything ready and loaded. He started to leave … And I rushed out and stopped him. First the lights were not on. They have an auto function that they turn on automatically in dark conditions. That got turned off. So he left. But returned a few minutes later because forgot a pair of shoes he wanted to take. I stopped him from leaving again because now with the lights on I could see one of the high beam lights was out. The one on the driver’s side. We checked all the other lights including fog lights and they were all good. So he is going to have that one replaced when he gets to NH as the Ford dealer is close to his sister. He and I talked a little while ago and he is doing well. His voice is still bad / rough. He still feels crappy but not as bad as yesterday. Thank you. Hugs. Scottie

Well, here’s to a safe trip, and getting it done. Done is good. Maybe the change in air will help. (I have no idea, of course, and I think it’s just hot and humid everywhere. But maybe.)
