He would be a joke except … the republicans agree with him and worship what he is saying. Hi Ali. That is why you are special, you have the gift of extending grace to others who are offensive. He is simply a guy who thinks guys should rule, women should bow to the men, like some kind of old time Chinese society. He simply is a creepy about women and how he sees them.
Sadly I knew two guys who really were misogynists. One was just “no woman is as good as a man, and no woman should be in the military”. When I explained to him that while he had not been in the military I had and I knew many women that were far better than I was and could whip my butt. His reply “was well that is because you’re gay”. WTF. But he cared for his wife and felt it was his job to take care of her, something he did a great job of. A 1950s guy without the violence of the man who adopted me.
The other guy outright hated women. Had no use for them. And he had a daughter. He could hardly be civil when talking to a woman. When among men he seemed normal and accepted Ron and me, but if the subject of women came up, he was venomous toward them. Hugs. Scottie
