    1. Hi Ali. I just watched two Sunday “news” shows. In the first one Tom Cotton refused to answer questions and diverted to lies against Kamala with little to no push back against him by the moderator Jonathon Karl. He fawned over Cotton. Compare that to when Bernie Sanders was on, Karl attacked Harris as not following democratic policies, not being a liberal, even claiming she supported tRump’s calls on immigration and to build the wall. Complete lies trying hard to get Bernie to denounce Harris. He argued and baited Bernie desperate for a sound bite to spark outrage against Harris. Bernie was too smart for him. That was This Week With …

      Compare that to Meet The Press host who had Vance on. Vance did the same thing in that he refused to answer the question but instead diverted each question to an attack on Harris often with lies about what she said and outright claiming that she was making all the polices during the Biden term as if she was the president. The difference was the host tried to correct Vance repeatedly also asking him to answer the question asked repeatedly. But Vance would just try to talk over her or simply claim she was wrong while repeating the lies in different ways. Thankfully while she would often give up correcting him to move on to the next question at the end of the interview back in the studio she did correct him on everything he lied about. That is real news coverage in the days of corporate news. I will be surprised is she is not called on the carpet for that. I have not watched the third show yet.

      But it is clear that the republican way of dealing with the news media is to ignore what they ask and use every question as a chance to deny any wrong doing by tRump and to accuse Harris of every wrong thing they can to drive fear. Vance and Cotton lied about inflation, crime, the border, gas prices. Everything claiming that Harris had acted to deliberately help the profit takers against the public. WTF. Every accusation they make at this point is a confession. Hugs. Scottie
