I love that stuff. That is all. For this post.

I wish there was an actual Thanksgiving presence. It was a nice holiday, people getting together to eat food (turkey, with that tryptophan stuff, is favorite – other thanksgiving meals accepted) reconnect, maybe start a marathon Monopoly game in the spare room.
Local retail stores have relegated Thanksgiving to an afterthought – a display of disposable “harvest” table wares and more turkeys and ham that what will sell for Christmas festivities.
Halloween and Christmas have nearly squeezed Thanksgiving out.

I agree-I loved the Fall stuff surrounding Thanksgiving, too! And it was nice, not being a gift-bearing thing, only food. But, I like to cook and feed people, so I thought that was just me. Ah, well.
I do want to make a new rule, though. Christmas merch at the same time as peppermint bark. Others can sub in their favorite Winter holiday thing to restrain early Winter holiday merch.
