  3. Too fucking right. I will stand with them.

    And she’s right: people need to be familiar with “First They Came”. But we were warning them of that before the election. Trump is a user, compiling a cabinet of users. They’re wealthy and elite, above the law and the fray. Their supporters laugh and jeer at ‘libruls’ who warn them they’ve been had. Even if they read ‘First They Came’, most of them will never accept the truth. I’m a pessimist about it, yes, but I saw how many of them have been duped time and time and time again. They let themselves get distracted by sales, game shows, sports championships, and false equivalencies. They don’t want to think.

    Sorry, but angry pessimism seems to be my mood du jour. Hugs ‘n cheers, M
