They are common here in Tucson, as are coyotes. However coyotes wearing rollerskates and rocket packs are considerably rarer..

My parents lived in Tempe for almost 2 years in the mid-80s, and had a roadrunner who visited regularly mornings and evenings on their brick wall/fence thing. It was cute! It seemed to know we thought so, too.

they are common here in OK., also saw a heck of a lot of them in Texas.
