What a lineup. I have a love/hate affair going with the political toons lately, leaning more to the hate because they are all so spot on. In the meantime I’m praying for the impossible dream. but the subject of the dream escapes me. I have a feeling that I hope will never come true, that we are headed for a depression that will make the one in 1929 look like a walk in the park. I lived with what that did to my mother even after all those years later and am really afraid of that happening to me in the end — disillusionment, fear, distrust, — what am I saying here? I already feel those emotions. I guess it’s off to one of the camps for me now!

Hi Angie I am sorry you are suffering distress and at this point in your life finding so much worry. Sadly you have good reason to worry. If the wealthy people in tRump’s orbit have their way the entire government will be devoted to moving / stealing all the money of the country from the mass public to the upper incomes. I learned today that over the last 50 years 50 trillion dollars had been transferred from the lower 90% of the people to the upper 1% or people. Think of that that means for everyone in this country struggling today. European countries avoided that and their people are far happier and have the services we long for from the government. But they were not taken over by wealthy people. However if you are off to the camps you will find me and Ron my husband there ahead of you. Loves and Hugs.

Then I hope we are in the same camp, my friend. It does seem that equality is no longer for the people, but for the wealthy people only now. Love and hugs to you and Ron. Hang in there. You are lucky to have each other;

That YouGov survey is wild. Respondents thought that 30% of Americans live in New York City.
That 20% of Americans have a household income of a million dollars or more.
Apparently 114% of Americans are Muslim, Jewish, Native Americans or gay…or there are a hella lot of gay Muslim Jewish Native Americans out there…

Hi Bruce. Yes it is crazy what some people think things are and what reality is. I read this professor in some high end elite university always gave his incoming class a survey first day. He simply asked the new students to list that they thought different working jobs paid yearly. So many were unrealistic to be stupid. He said the majority of the classes always felt the average wage of working people was $800,000 a year. Yes all of us slaving slob make a fortune and feel we are under paid. No wonder the upper incomes and their kids have no idea how life is a struggle for the lower incomes. Hugs

Hi Ali. I have to admit I like them all, but out of this batch I think my favorite was the one that says the exact moment the catnip kicks in. Hugs
