  1. Thank you Ali, for posting this reblog. The idea that the young children don’t understand the difference between boy / girl totally forgets from the earliest moments of our lives our parents push their ideas of who we are and what they want us to be on us. From the ones they put us in as babies to how they decorate our rooms. Also they tell us what bathrooms to use, who we can see nude as children. Boys are allowed to see other boys change clothing, same with girls. Who is allowed to share rooms with whom, and who is allowed to sleep overs, these all reinforce our ideas of gender. It is just it seems so normal that most people don’t see it. They only get upset when someone breaks those norms that the straight cis people have grown to expect automatically. I struggle to understand why such stuck in traditional thinking, it has always been this way so why should it change these people ask. Because not all people are the same and think the same. Hugs.
