Well, Scottie, we should never forget the rich are so wrapped up in their money they will do anything to make sure it stays in their pockets. Heaven forbid any money at all should trickle down to the working class who paid it in to Social Security in the first place, never suspecting it should have been named Social Insecurity. Some of this might have been averted years ago if only the Senate and House had taken the same road as the Presidency and limited the number of terms they could serve. There is noting more frightening to me than all of the professional politicians sitting in their mansions feeding off the money that should have remained in the system to be used by the people whose honest work put it there.

Hello Angie. I agree with what you have said. Here is the thing, multimillionaires can live very comfortably but if they went crazy could over spend themselves. But billionaires never can. That is the difference. A person with a few millions their money works for them and cal live wonderfully. As the wealth grows it does more and more of the earning more money, until it becomes an unstoppable income that it doesn’t matter how much the person who owns it spends, it replenishes itself so fast. In an effort to stop Elisabeth Warren, who looked likely to win and wanted to slap higher taxes on the wealthy, he decided to run and gave his campaign 600 million dollars. Yes he had access to that much free money and gave it to his campaign. Here is the thing. He is a billionaire. Why could he do this thing, 600 million. Because it made it all back and more in less than 3 months.
That is what sickens me about the entire thing. These people playing games to see who gets to sit on the biggest pile of numbers have no conception of the scramble and hurt it is for the lower incomes to just survive and live. To them we are cockroaches and vermin, not worth their thought in any way except to get rid of us. If we can not produce them a profit we need not exist. Jeff Bezos told his executives to drive the workers until they dropped broken and useless, then replace them with fresh hires. That is what he thought of them as human people. Hugs
