But is this a good way to defend trans people? And what about the ones who are closeted, or haven’t come to their own conclusions re themselves, so they don’t show up in numbers? I understand that we don’t want ignorant people thinking there are masses of trans armies coming, but noting that there are so few people who are trans makes me uncomfortable when thinking of the mindset of those who are transphobic. Like it’s giving them another excuse to persecute trans people because it’s only 1 or 2. Those 1 or 2 matter. Just my .02.
Plus, numbers don’t seem to matter in regard to women. We hold up 51% or more of the sky, and still receive fewer rights and less money.

Hi Ali. I guess I see the video differently. I wonder how Janet sees it. For me the video shows the overblown hate and disinformation pushed by the right. It shows how they can not be trusted. It is not for us who are supporters the ones who need to see the video are the ones watching the hysterical right wing media and believing it. People like Tildeb and Nan who are sure that men wanting medals they can not get against other men are pretending to be women, also both are sure kids are being pushed into becoming trans by parents, teachers, and other kids. It is cool to be trans, just try it silliness. So yes I think debunking videos are good things. It is the same thing I do in writing, he just has great production values. Hugs

Oh and Ali. You are fully correct that those 1 or 2 matter. To me they matter greatly. Remember I was a gay kid in a time when what is being done to trans kids was being done to us gay kids. So yes they are very important. Hugs
